  1. That's actually not an FGD dial. It's a 6152 dial.
  2. The vintage bug is upon me, help me! These dials rock, by the way. Big thanks to you know who.
  3. Awesome!! But that el caseback is never leaving me again!!
  4. I sent you a PM. Really looking for one of these.
  5. Yea, it's down again. This happened last summer too around the same time. It went down for a day, then it was in and out for a few days after.
  6. Sorry, mine deployant isn't genuine either. I got mine from a member that got it on a different watch.
  7. I too have the same gen strap and deployant. The gen strap really changes the watch! Congrats!
  8. Thanks alot!
  9. ahhhh, much better
  10. I finally got rid of the busted DSN dial that was in my Avitt coated 009 with the latest generation FGD dial. It's joining it's 002 brother for a quick photoshoot before the 002 goes off to surgery for some other work (hint at the bottom of the thread). Look at that hint of lume And the dial that's going into the 002 and a LH CG on the way: These dials are the best thing to hit the rep scene in a long time!
  11. My dial has been installed by my watchmaker and I should have it early next week! Going in that watch in the top picture on the third page!!
  12. Sad to see this watch go, but it should go to a good home.
  13. There are many reasons not to bring a Rep to an AD. ADs could see it as a possible thief attempt (swap the Gen with the Rep). It's also insulting to the sales rep to flaunt the watch to someone who makes their living selling gens. It's also embarrassing getting called out and asked to leave
  14. Nice tutorial, imho No AR is better than crappy rep AR.
  15. Yea man, Brobert did a bang up job on this thing. I got it back Monday, but I shipped it directly back to Rex to have him remove the Fu hands.
  16. Yea, plus it would replace the DSN dial that is falling apart inside:
  17. I could really REALLY use an FGD dial to put in my Avitt coated 009. Hope I could be added to the list.
  18. Hahaha, not for a while.
  19. DSN 217 and Rex Lumed 111h
  20. This watch is made from some of the best parts that you can get at the moment: Little Hero Dial V CG T-48 Crown Jimmy Fu Hands (not feeling them, they are getting swapped out for standard rep hands) Standard Rep Case Rex serviced 6497-2 Rex Lume Brobert Polished Case and Refinished CG Brobert sent me these pictures before he mails it out tomorrow. I can't wait to get it. Pics show his Gen 112:
  21. Wow, I really need to source that caseback. I got a 99 caseback, but I would really like a different number.
  22. It won't matter. When you sent it to Avitt, he will bead blast it for the correct finish.
  23. I'm building a Pre-A 009 and I must say if you can afford the Avitt DLC coating, go for it! I'm amazed everytime I look at it. It looks completly different than the DSN finish. Mine has a DSN dial at the moment, but I'm waiting for my dial from The Zigmeister to pop in. I'm going to use this post to talk about how great of a guy The Zigmeister is. My original dial was stolen on the way back to me and The Zigmeister took his own personal dial that he was going to use and is going to lume that and send it my way. I can only say great things about the guy thus far! Can't wait to get it back so I can install it and finally have my perfect 009. I'll post pictures of it when it's complete. But The Zigmeister/FGD/Avitt is the way to go with a pre-a 009.
  24. Crap, I hope your not running into issues with my 3717. I was told it was a V1 when I bought it so I hope everything is going okay. Matt
