Yes I remember there were some 240s that had KILLER cg pins, looked gen. Only problem is they were upside down

I want to order a Titanium manual wind for an upcoming PAM40 project, but I'm concerned about the quality of his Ti CGs. Some of them in the past have been really good quality (shape, lever and most importantly the pin), but others have been also pretty bad. I'm just curious to see if anyone has a recent Ti PAM from DSN.

hmmmmm, but I think the original idea of parting it out is because I don't have the cash for the entire gen. I'd buy it, then sell off the parts to help "soften" the cost of the gen case. Either way, the 116 sold so this idea is out until I can find another cheap gen.

Okay, this is getting a bit ridiculous! I'm considering buying a PAM to part out just so I could get the case, cg and crown. I want to build a Custom PAM40 with a Pre-A Marina dial, but I've owned about 10 Ti cases now and they all aren't cutting it (Horrible CG quality). There is a PAM116 base tobacco dial on ebay with no box or papers. Do you think I could sell the following items off it, and if so, what price: OEM PAM Base E movement - $??? OEM PAM Base Tobacco Dial - $??? OEM PAM Base Hands (no seconds) - $??? OEM PAM Titanium Caseback with E serial number - $??? __________________ TOTAL: $???

Find another modder. I sent you a PM. If you are in the states, there is a modder that will do simple dial/hand swaps for cheap.

I would simply buy the Cartel version, and then buy the dial and hads from DSN directly. I really don't understand how people can charge around $500 for completed watches as the watch from the cartel is around $220 and the Dial and Hands are $60 from DSN. So it's about $300 for a very accurate rep.

This may actually get me interested in Rolex. I've wanted a vintage model for some time now, but couldn't handle the price of the MBW models. Can someone give me a pictorial difference with the crown guards? As for the lug holes, it doesn't look that bad. Here is a photo of the gen: It may be a tad lower, but at the price, I'm not that picky.
