  1. Okay, I'll keep my eye's peeled. I'm an active member on Repgeek, however I didn't see much mention of the AR job for the cyclops on that board but I did on here. Just have to monitor two boards I guess
  2. I bought this fiddy from Angus a while back. The movement is not the same as pictured on his site. The engraving is really bad, and it looks to be A LOT thicker than the earlier E series movements. I had one of his ultimate 111E watches that I compared the movement with and as you can see, the quality of the engraving is horrible in comparison. However you take what you can get, but I would have rather just bought a noob fiddy from ioffer for $120 instead of this crappy movement. I did get the sapphire upgrade, which I heard is a must on the fiddy. I also got the cannon pin and the lume upgrade, but it appears that the lume wasn't really upgraded since the fiddy has decent lume to begin with and the cannon pin wasn't actually modded; the hands were just filed down. And the comparison shots: Notice the the crappy pattern on the "New" movement Closeup detail of the pattern text Excellent quality control I ended up sending the watch back because of the swan neck screw thread issue. The screw was backing out and would have fallen into the balance wheel if I didn't notice it backing out.
  3. I know Cheiftang was offering this service, I was curious to see if anyone has gotten the cyclops back yet? I really want to see the results as I plan on getting a GMTII-C. How are you guys going to reattach the cyclops?
  4. Won't the hands not match the new GMT style thicker hands? I saw a set on eBay with the red GMT and they weren't as thick as the GMT2 Master Ceramic.
  5. Won't it need all new hands?
  6. However, that model looks as if it' has the lowbeat A7750 which could account for the lower price for the ceramic case.
  7. Yea, they used to have a video on their website to promote the second life store. But if you watched closely, when they type in secondlife.com, serialz.to came up in the browser history. I don't feel bad buying a rep from a company that pirates software.
