That is true, i like the fact that if people look at the watch i am wearing and think wow he can afford that! but if asked i will alway say it is a rep. My local car dealers have all the sales staff wearing rollys, i dont think they are all real but they notice watches and assess in alot of cases if you can afford x y z car. 9 times out of 10 it is becase you are wearing a rolex, it is the only name that alot of the public know when it comes to prestege watches, if it was an IWC or panerai, or god forbid a Patec they would not even recognize the name, but what is the first question you hear when you wear a rolex!

I would not lump the FFL in with the rest, they are a very profesional army, with traditions going back centuries, yes they have been known in the past to harbor some unsavory types but the Army has been i hiding place for people like that since time began. Actualy what i have seen from DSN straps they are pretty good ! if you want a bit of choice, try the BOB (waccex on ebay)straps or Panatime in the trading zone You will have a good chance of finding some good used and hand made straps in the member tade area too, the are oftern a few for sale, i make and sell mine occasionaly but you are out of luck right now. You can go to the big time makers such as Zeugma, Strap culture but they are over priced in my oppinion.

I have showered in the ingy with out problems but not tested it any further than that, all i can add is that as long as all the seals are greased and fitted well there should be no reason for it not to be water tight, th gen is only tested to 120m so even at that it is only surface swimming, snorkeling recomended.
