Is this s a group buy for the Yuki sub dial hands? I thought they were too thin. I have a pair that is not being used. I also have the original chrono hand that came on my donor watch. It might work too. It is 40 years old. Here is the picture:

Any word on correctly painted subdial hands? I hear the ones with the paint removed are turning yellow. I have the Yuki chrono hand. How much of an improvement do you think it would be? Here is mine:

I used a green 3m pad.

I had to figure a way to put a brush finish on mine. I came up with the following:

Thread pitch is wrong. You have to retap the case.

I emailed Gary and he said he did not have any. He also made no mention of having one in the future. I did not ask.

What did you use to get the brush finish?

I am going to put a brush finish on my bezel of my dw 7032. It is more accurate and it appears people like that the best. Does anyone have a DW crystal in case I break mine? Also, what is the best method for putting the finish on? To get the circular finish it seems like it would be best to spin it on something. Did any of you do it by hand? I guess I need something the inner diameter of the bezel. I might measure the diameter of the watch if the crystal comes off for future replacement of the crystal.

I figure the crystal might come off when I take the bezel off. If so then I will measure it. I might run to harbor freight and pick up a cheap tool to measure it. I think M said that there was some variance. Some of the DW 7032s will take a gen crystal with not much issue.

Whar should the diameter be to get the gen/aftermarket crystal to fit? I am to refinish my bezel and thought I should take measurements as well.

No crystal on ebay. I will look on phong's site for one. I would like to get the aftermarket one at 20% of the price of the gen...

Someone want to give some more details on this one. I was just wondering also if the bezel looks better brushed or if it is just more accurate.
