Andreww, that is the BS that the rep makers tell. The gen 7753 does not have a date changing function over the crown either and so does the genuine Navitimer. To change the date on the Navitimer you actually have to advance the time over midnight! IT DOES NOT HAVE A QUICKSET DATE!!!
A Navitimer with A7753 WITHOUT pusher at 10 would be perfectly accurate!

Does anyone still have the file?
Thanks!

Would someone here seriously be interested in buying a already assembled SM300? My best friend is selling his, looking exactly the same as my SM300... I built them together.
Price surely would not be cheap actually, but parts are getting seriously expensive at the moment (case set up 25% and so on...)

if only the case back engraving was anything near correct... it is still completely wrong.
-
Sure that the crystal gasket is not AWOL?
-
I think it looks like they did not replicate the microstella adjustment screws. The rep movement uses a regulator arm instead of a free sprung balance...

I have one from my SM300, lumed together with DB's ...

Interesting ... I might have to order one asap!

I'm all about a Master World Geographic. Heck, you'd think the Master Control would be a no-brainer. I wonder why that one hasn't been repped yet - seems like a simple 2824 movement to me...
it is not even near a 2824...
-
Does it have lugholes? Bracelet?
-
Anyone know how the lume is?

Looks very nice to me

Horrible.
The case back, the bracelet, both wrong. The rehaut is wooky, too.

There used to be an X33 rep that looks OK, see here:
But that is looong time ago and I have no idea if it is still available somewhere...

Thanks for the interesting review. Is there a rep bracelet that fits the SuperOcean 2010?

...One strange element is the item on the left side of the case at 9 o'clock. It again has some PVD black and is meant to look like a gas cap over a triangular ring that resembles the Ducati logo. This is the date adjuster, and I am not sure why it is there. Inside the watch is a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7753 movement that has been customized by Tudor. The movement comes with the ability to change the date with the crown. Not sure why they took that function out and instead gave it a pusher. If the pusher needs a stylus to adjust the date, then it is much less convenient - and if you can press it with your finger, then you run the risk of hitting the watch on something and accidentally changing the date. While it does look cool, this design element confuses me....
Unfortunately you are wrong on this. The 7753 does not have a quick set date via the crown, e.g. the Breitling Navitimers using a 7753 without the date pusher do not have any device to change the date without turning time over midnight. All 7753 watches with a quick set date need a pusher, usually at 10 o'clock.

Stamped from sheet is still "from solid" I.e. Not cast/forged
Stamping or machining something has serious influence on the surface structure and the materials's capabilities, e.g. hardness...
A case machined or casted from 18 gold without any compacting of the case will most probably be too soft for anything.

On a bracelet and with lume quality comparable to the new Panerais - that would be a dream rep!
The white dial gen is just stunning!

... Chefcook (enjoy the Speedy )...
hehe, thanks S., I am wearing your Speedmaster as I am reading this (in the meantime switched to the black dial).
It is great to see how good your Daytona project turned out. To me this is one of the best - if not the best - Daytona in this Forum!

It can be done but to be honest it is quite a task...
You have to unfold the center links to get the bracelet apart. Sound not like a problem, but quite often one will leave dents in the bracelet. Heating the bracelet will help.

No, the genuine Hublot Movement ist marked 27 jewels as well as they use two additional jewels in the 3-6-9 Tricompax conversion.

It is nice but I'd prefer a good non-chronograph modern Fifty Fathoms...

A steel Day Date? Special

After seeing the gen this morning I am totally over this watch: Porsche P6530, re edition of the old IWC Porsche Design Chronographs with sunken pushers.
Since PD watches seem to sell well in the rep world I am really hoping to see a good replication of this wonderful watch soon. It is light, comfortable and looks stunning in person, a real classic.

MBW would come with the "MONARCH POLFY" case back...
