  1. I received mine. The caseback does not screw down completely (the caseback grey part is too high…). The clasps doesn't align perfectly and the "brush part" (where you are supposed to put your nail to pull the crown), well, is completely polished and not very well finished. And I replace the pearl as soon as I get it. It was ugly ! But the overall watch is a much better version compare to my V3. A mix of my v3 parts and some fitting with the caseback and I may have a nice model Oh… and there is no coronet engraved on the crystal. And when I super gently remove the ceramic bezel, it was cut… Nothing to worry after some glue but nevertheless, but if I hadn't removed the bezel I would never have discovered this also. I think that is all ! But it is a nice watch in the beautiful world of rep !
  2. I think it is time to read 14060 or 16610? tutorial about the 7750. Thanks for posting that
  3. thanks ! I also some Bremont reps one day. 3300€ for an ETA is a little bit overpriced !
  4. Anyone could identify this watch ? Thanks in advance.
  5. Ok thanks for all the great advices. I saw the cousin movement and that was one of my option. Andy you can pm me with your price ( as i don't really know what i am supposed to ask) and i will let you know if i am ok with. The eta might be a little bit more expensive, but is it better to buy one eta for 5 years or 5 asian for 5 years or maybe more???
  6. the problem is that i don't have any watchsmith rep friendly around me so i guess the answer is to find a new a 7750. But just out os curiosity what are you supposed to do to make the hands fit on a valjoux? Is this movement would be a good candidate to replace my movement? http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Asian-7750-Satin-Chrono-6-9-12-White-day-date-/320534789136?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa15cbc10
  7. Hello, after 2 years of good service my 3717 has died so i am in search for a new 7750 movement. Anyone knows a good and cheap place to buy one? And i read that the a7750 and the valjoux7750 where not compatible. Does that mean that the hands of my actual 3717 would not fit a valjoux? Tnahks in advance.
  8. And how much did it cost for this new model ?
  9. plaifender you are killing everybody here ! The suspens is unbearable
  10. Pleeeease let us know the source I really need to replace my old V3.
  11. Anybody have already order the cheapest one (DG2813) ? which is here ? I'd like to know if it the same quality than the same higher quality one.
  12. the diameter of the inside ring (where the glass is supposed to be) is 30.2 mm. This is the measurement without any gasket in it. Just the plain steel ring. But maybe you might want to open another thread to get your answer (and mine)
  13. Is the gen does not click also ? Would you be kind enought to let me know what is the size of the crystal ?
  14. It is a GMT case. Is it normal that it does not click ?
  15. I am killing myself at trying to remove this bezel ? I tried every sharp tool around but had no luck
  16. Hi guys, I experimented some bezel aging with bleach and it turn out not that good for the moment. I wonder if any of you might know a source to buy some cheap sub bezel (even the low quality ones). The only ones I found right know are the one from the bay and I would like to experiment a little bit so I don't feel like trashing away 8$ each time I make a try
  17. well, patience is the key. So I'll wait a little extra for the new upgraded model as I doubt the 36mm would be large enough for me
  18. JMB, it looks like there is lume inside the numbers ? Or is it the picture ?
  19. The big advantage is the bracelet, I guess. The engraved rehault is a little bit show off, I guess, but I like all steel numbers.
  20. Hi Everyone, Do you think there is a good chance to see this model coming out soon ? I can't wait for it !!!
  21. Why can they do the omega logo right ? I mean it is not that expensive to produce and replace some accurate logos with the new models
  22. Argh ! the first watch on the moon as been lost in the mail !!! "Buzz Aldrin's watch was lost in transit in or about 1971 whilst en route to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum"
  23. Thanks Francisco. I already waterproofed my 1665 and my UPO but as I didn't have a pressure tester, I did the "boiled water" dive test. No leaks so far
