  1. I would guess the major health issues are with the people making the watches not the people wearing them
  2. Hi Emuozz An excellent review, I really enjoyed reading it. Pleased to hear you eventually received the watch and it lived up to you expectations. Paso
  3. Bazz Those pictures are truly awesome...The best I have seen of this beautiful watch. paso
  4. Great to hear you are enjoying your new Patek. I'm pleased the wait was worth it:) Paso
  5. Receiving in the UK is no problem. As long as it"s not drugs or bombs(even then you would be unlucky) don"t worry.
  6. Recently traded an IWC Portuguese Chrono (Asia 7750) with a friend in San Francisco and it's decided to stop working. Rather than sending it back to me he'd rather get it fixed in the US (I'd prefer this as well!) Any recommendations for a competent watch smith in San Francisco or any where else in the US for that matter? wave
  7. Need a bit of advice. ! traded a watch with a friend of mine, I'm in the UK and he is in Switzerland. There was no declaration asked for when I sent it from the UK. It has arrived in Switzerland and customs there are asking him for a Proforma Invoice. What should he do? I'd be inclined to say it's a gift from a friend.... not sure if this is the right advice though! There was nothing but the watch in the box. The watch was a Panerai Daylight Chrono by the way. Suggestions would be most grateful.
  8. Been living in Thailand for the last 18 months and Bangkok for the last 6 months. I'm always eating the street food and have never got sick(maybe I'm lucky!). There is no problem with the ice in your drinks or any other travellers myths (don't eat salad or fruit as it's washed with tap water etc etc) Get a Taxi to MBK from the airport. Go to the third floor and you'll find the watches. If you want mobile phones or mp3 players go to the fourth floor. Dont forget to haggle a bit (it's expected). If you want food there's a huge food court (you buy coupons with the cashier) and loads of restaurants on sixth floor. Get a massage at MBK as well(there's a few places on the fourth floor I think). You'll find the eight hour stop over goes pretty quick. Enjoy and have fun!
