Currently zeroing in on the nature of the attack - all I'm willing to say is that it wasn't a DDoS attack - actually something rather more subtle. I'm taking the opportunity to do some system maintenance (necessary as the attack could have caused database issues and I need to ensure that it hasn't) whilst also doing a little detective work. Hi guys, I will try to keep you updated on our latest outage in this thread. Currently it seems that is some sort of attack going on. Still investigating how, what and who. The good news is that I now have full access to the server and have managed to take a complete up-to-date backup, so we've not lost any data.
