can't justify the cost but luvvv the customization factor

welcome onboard
personally i've never dealt with exactreplicas.com and think their Toll Free number 888-4A-EXACT is VoIP so they could be based anywhere ...
start by reading the Tutorials section thoroughly and going through the Collector's section for models and prices

jeez ! i nearly fell asleep twice reading this thread
so was this Highway Patrol or local PD ? the tint ticket may be a fix-it violation
-
well, modern-day Islam = Christianity in the Middle Ages ... hopefully they will catch up

I hope India will still be a open and friendly place after this horror.
All my best wishes goes out to all inflicted by this cowards terrorist attacks.
Cheers
well i'm sure that they will be implementing tighter controls but as with any 3rd world nation that needs its overseas remittances they cannot afford to be unfriendly with their Western counterparts. As a productive entity, they are superseded only by China with a larger, older population but as the demographics change, they will certainly gain further prominence

lets see how the lame Indian government responds to the activities of their dastardly neighbors

Post of the Month, maybe even the Quarter !!!
BRILLIANT work
-
yet to happen
most folk around me don't care or can't tell ... life is too busy i guess
-
7 weeks is a rather short amount of time but seeing how these hands have dislodged themselves, a watch smith could put them back correctly ... i'd contact the dealer first & aim for a working replacement though
-
In fact I don't think TTK has uttered a truth in the past 3 Months.
Ken
yep
i can't for the life of me fathom how he got those 30 Trader points on RG

$480 for the Nabucco ?
heck i really wish i bought one when they were selling for $360 ... there must be differences though
-
congrats on the resurgence
so is this a 3rd watch forum besides RWG and RG or a 4th ?
-
last i heard Ruby was in the process of moving shop/home and severely backlogged so give him/her some time after which you will get a response

The original owner told me the Chronos don't work, but I was just curious as to what they were supposed to do. He has no idea, but doesn't think it involves days or months.
chances are the 2 o'clock pusher moves the sub-dial @ 9 and the 4 o'clock moves the one @ 3
-
I don't have the watch yet, its on its way. The original owner said it has to do with seconds, but I don't see any set of #s that resemble seconds.
perhaps you should have him specify what each chrono pusher does ...
-
so how'd it go ? or were y'all raided by the Federales LoL
-
well what happens when you press the 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock pushers ?
-
you gotta do it - even if it takes awhile - its worth it.
i'm lucky in that respect since a couple i've bought came with his 'treatment'
-
problem is getting on Chieftang's list
-
yep, this is one hobby where a low profile is the best kind
maybe next time I'll even try using public transport for kicks, LoL

being that I'm scheduled to leave my lovely South-Central for RainLand early next year I thought it'd be fitting to go exploring my environs. Lord knows when I'll get the chance again if @ all I do. Living in the suburbs has dulled my edge anyway. Since i'm usually the one to scare easy, i thought it fair to enlist the services of Mr Malibuss to escort me
Parked @ the flat rate overhead lot next to the Golden Arches and sauntered Southwards. Most of the vendors were operating @ 1/3rd strength since they were raided the past weekend. But some still had a few wares on display. And they were usually on guard @ their very door, looking out for the first signs of trouble or enforcement.
About the goods, I think its safe to say 1/2 of them are fantasy models but its still fun to to gaze @ the eye candy nonetheless. The rest is divided between quartz chrono reps & faux chrono automatics. Their prices are not any higher than what is available in the Collectors section.
A few noteworthy specimens ...
FM Crazy Hours but without the crazy hours, go figure !
Omega SMPs (both QoS and 007 seconds hand) but the choices for ladies Omegas were FAR superior than their gents' counterparts
PAM Ferrari Rattrapante (?) in rose gold but the case finishing and overall garishness put me off, could be remedied
a Chopard GT XL (non-chrono) seemed worthwhile
PAM Daylight chronos with decent cases and crystals but festooned by skinny crowns
B&R and Graham chronos also merit a special mention but I haven't read up on either to comment much honestly
Big Bangs (a coupla Luna Rossa's) too
Before parting I did inquire with a couple of vendors about securing a decent working 7750 Daylight chrono and their asking prices were the same as the usual suspects, only difference is this would be a local pick-up and save me the headaches of shipping from overseas. I must say I am rather tempted to order one the next time I visit them.
Cheers !
