Does anybody knows if we could just walk into an AP Boutique to buy a GEN strap? or would they demand to see the watch before they would sell a replacement? Thanks!
There's no lume on this one, and I believe there's no lume on the gen as well.
My photography skills (or the lack of it!) does no justice to the watch. It's actually much better looking than what you see in the photos. In short I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Just took delivery of my AP ROO Volcano today.
I chose rubber as I wasn't keen on the leather strap option and already have a black Themes secs@9 with steel bracelet
I am really happy with the purchase, the watch feels fantastic and the finishing is superb.
Had been staring at it and smiling to myself all day. I am planning to get a strap from Oracle as well as a gator from StrapLuxe sometime down the road.
Here are some photos of the watch together with my secs@9 black themes.
A new sucker is born everyday, and the winning bid for this masterpiece went for US$2550! half of what it went for the last time.

I had been asking eBay to pull this since the start of the auction but they didn't want to, perhaps because seller has 25,000 feedback and hence couldn't be selling a fake?
The last time this ridiculous looking grand masterpiece went for US$5000

Whoever bidded on it must have suddenly woke up and realised what a nutter he/she is.......and now it's back on the bay, let's see how much it ends up this time...........

A rare platinum AP going for just US$50,000......well, that is if you could really see what you are buying.......

I've found a few photos of the GEN from the internet showing a white dial (some might want to call it slightly off white?) with what it seems to me silverish sub dials.......
Also I read that the GEN Safari does not have any lume at all........interesting.
Interestingly, below is what Josh wrote in his email to me......
"Dial is white. Dial of genuine is white.. A lot of online pics shows its cream due to the photo lightings".
So that confirms the dial on this rep is white and not cream.........I haven't seen the GEN in person but all the online photos that I've seen (on eBay and other AP forums) are all cream, but according to Josh, even the GEN is white!
Seems like they've got the Safari out with the brown hornback strap, and have they fixed the dial? it looks off-white to me (cream) which is much closer to the gen, or is my eyes playing tricks?

I currently own a MBW/MBK AP ROO black themes secs@9 that comes fitted with a bracelet.
I bought from one of the dealers here a rubber strap, deployant and links that was meant for the Secs@12 but unfortunately there's no way the links could fit into my MBW/MBK.
Does anyone knows if the Oracle kit would fit instead? Thanks!
Hi everyone, need some help here. I had to send a DOA watch back to China, and is now held by the Chinese customs who had contacted the dealer to pay Customs fee for clearance, and I had been asked by the dealer to settle the fees payable. Can anyone tell me who pays? me or the dealer?
