  1. If you are going to wear it regularly and don't care about maintaining the watch in "investment" quality then the box/papers are not important. If you are going to treat it as a safe queen and expect top dollar some day you need to have all the goodies. In addition, watches without boxes and papers raise suspicion and take longer to sell....even at the discounted price.
  2. R, I think the watch looks right at home on your wrist. -C
  3. Thanks for the compliements. I can only hope to get close to the quality of some of cool stuff I've seen around here lately. Actually it was from a basic gold rolex pocket watch. Sorry for the teaser but the front and crown are not worthy.....yet.
  4. Great to see you back. We should start an Old Timers club. I'm definately interested in that DW....
  5. I couldn't sleep last night so I picked up where I left off (over 2 years ago) on a vintage project. Here's where I'm at so far:
  6. Robbie? No its a different guy but he is in Florida we-sell-time (Tom). I've seen the 24mm for a long time but I haven't seen the 26mm.
  7. I haven't seen these anywhere until now. If its old news then sorry. Since I haven't been around for a while I forgot how to use the search function. Yes its heavy.
  8. Howdy. I'm lurkin' again also.....
  9. Its a watch and it may keep time. But, its not even close to some of the better 127's out there
  10. Has anyone tried on of these yet? If so, any photos on a 47mm sub?
  11. Hello Kasi. Where are all those old daytonas?
  12. Well I guess if Kasi is back I guess I'll snoop around a little. How about those HBB's? (spachula from old days)
  13. I knew someone would remember Mr Hanky! thanks for all the kind welcomes!
