  1. Oh yes I am. Most of the time... And to prove that, here´s a short and easy one for you: A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
  2. ...of course I am...
  3. Ari and Charles took turns driving on a round trip using the same route both ways. Ari drove the first 40 km and then Charles drove the rest of the way. Ari started to drive on the return trip and then Charles drove the last 50km. Which of the two drove more km and how many more did he drive? Must be 20 km that charles drove more. When the route is e.g. 140km long, Ari drove 40 km and Charles 100 km. On the way back Charles drove 50 km and Ari 90 km. So Charles drove 150 km and Ari drove 130 km. This works with every distance...
  4. Thank you for your help, but there must be more opinions out there... Greetings DJ
  5. Hi folks ! Just browsed a bit on Pauls ( or who ever ) new site www.wo-mart.com and saw that he has new pics of the 42.5 mm PO. They say it´s a new 5th gen with a different dial that especially fixes the logo placement. Here´s a pic. Looks like the watch is quite perfect now ( besides the pearl ) ... Did anyone get a 42.5 mm PO from Paul recently ? Greetings DJ
  6. Maybe you can put me into the right direction... I already own a classic black Sub, a "Pepsi" GMT II, a classic black Omega SMP, a blue SMP, a white/blue marker Broad Arrow Speedy, a black & an orange 4th gen PO and finally a 111h SS. As I am not a rich guy I can´t afford to buy all at once but each of them is on my list. Which one would you recommend ? Thanks for your help. Greetings DJ
  7. Are there sewers ( in German "Abwasserkanäle" ) under the street ?
  8. If you don´t wind it, it would not even start running...
  9. They didn´t play against each other. They played together and did it for money. The four are musicians, playing their songs the hole night through. And when you have money they even do it for you... You don´t need to be a poker fan...
  10. ...and once again...CORRECT ANSWER !!! I have to go to bed now, but wasn´t there a question still unanswered ? Good night...
  11. Can´t fool you... Of course your first answer is CORRECT, because the question said nothing about water in the bucket at 30 degrees F. Congratulations!!! OK. I try again... Imagine two bridges that are exactly alike except that every dimension of one bridge is twice as large as the other. For example, the larger bridge is exactly two times longer, its structural members are exactly two times thicker, and so forth. Which of the two bridges would be stronger, or is their strength the same?
  12. ....and that´s absolutely CORRECT ! They leave at different times so they reach the bridge at different times. I knew it was too easy... Here´s another short and easy one... If I were in Hawaii and dropped a bowling ball in a bucket of water which is 45 degrees F, and dropped another ball of the same weight, mass, and size in a bucket at 30 degrees F, both of them at the same time, which ball would hit the bottom of the bucket first?
  13. OK. I got another easy one for you guys until cornerstone is back to tell me that I am a winner... There are two railroad tracks that are parallel to each other until they come to a bridge, where they cross. One day, two trains leave in opposing directions of one another, on opposite tracks. They both cross at the bridge and over the intersection, but do not actually collide. How is this possible?
  14. Did you take a look at Rolex bracelets ? That´s what I call "cheap feeling"... My five Omegas ar far superior. Greetings DJ
  15. The ball would never be submerged because mercury is so dense that the ball would swim on the surface...
  16. Once again Ken... But now it´s me again... Answer is TOWER. All words in A make sense if you let them begin with water. But wait, isn´t there also a water road...?

  19. The Amazing Dave, the famous magician, claims that when he is in the far north, he can point his car north on an ordinary road, drive it for one mile, and without turning around, end up one mile south of where he started. How does he do it? He pionts his car north, uses the reverse gear ( hope this is the word for it ) drives a mile and then drives forward again. And no - I do not have the same cards...
  20. Of course hourglass is CORRECT ! Now we can go on as usual... Thank you Cornerstone !
  21. No, not really... There is a timepiece with some more moving parts... But now it´s time for me to go to bed...
  22. Nice try- but also NOT the right answer...
  23. Didn´t know that the solar system is a timepiece... Sorry, but this is NOT correct...
  24. That seems to be too easy....but the answer is of course RIGHT The time piece with the fewest number of moving parts is the sun dial. What is the time piece with the most number of moving parts?
