  1. Ok then. I got a nice bentley 6.75 for sale. you wanna make me an offer?
  2. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo341/b...pics/675021.jpg zoom in a bit and the 0 is well off. bvc.
  3. Seriously? If so I love you man.
  4. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo341/b...cs/675021-1.jpg Ok. I cant believe the pic dosent look that bad. please believe me it is really noticable in real life. honest guys i am not being a d*ck. actually the 9 subdial looks off and I can live with that. the date looks worse than the subdial it just isnt coming across in the photo. both numbers really slant to the left. Someone please tell me a watchsmith can fix it. bvc
  5. Ok guys. Just glad I had already decided not to give a sh*t before it arrived. Just got my white dial 6.75 back from josh. Repaired not replaced. (but thats another story) 3 and 6 subdials fixed but now the date wheel is off! I will try and get a decent pic up but its difficult. will try and explain for time being. the left numeral is sitting high and slanting slightly left. the right numeral is sitting low and also slanting left. The 2 as a whole look a b*tch. screams fake. Just cant believe it. anyone that got a dud on their first purchase and had to send it back will know what ive been through this last 2 months. So I could have cut my losses and sold this watch here and bought shultz's cherub but have decided to post about the fault instead. I doubt after this post anyone will want it. I hope this fact will stop any comments telling me this is all part of the rep game and that i should have more patience and instead show i am a good guy that just wanted a decent rep breit. so is it possible to fix it? i.e rep friendly watchsmith? dont think i can go through the agony of sending it back to josh. I havnt told josh and i am not slating him. just cant be bothered anymore. not sure how the datewheel will come out on the pics. but surely they should be straight/ level/ centered? please dont tell me "i am being fussy" or "its a fake get over it" I would love to log on in a hour and see that its a 10 quid job from a watchsmith, but i fear my only option will be to tell josh and send it back to china after first convincing him i am not a ars*hole and the wheel is genuinely off. bvc.
  6. heehee! gaaawd aftanoon madaaaaaam
  7. dont know man, i think mclaren will be doing a favour sometime next season. but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaheeeeeeeeeew. lewis world champ. thoroughly deserved, loved it. had a heart attack in the last lap. done half a bottle of vodka during the race. awesome race. (still dont have my 6.75) lol bvc.
  8. Anyone that decides to buy from josh must understand this. I bought from josh and this has been exactly my experience. My 6..75 is finally at the post office. expecting delivery monday. There are threads discussing many of the things josh has done for customers. (instant refunds and replaced watches before faulty ones have been posted) I allowed myself to believe I would recieve this treatment. I didnt. Now when I challenged Josh about this he gave a very convincing reason why he dosent do this. He has helped long term customers in this manner but, fellow newbies..... do not expect this service from josh. Josh has been ripped off by people returning watches with parts missing and deliberately damaged watches. (In his own words.) I now understand why josh cant give that service. you have to understand this if you buy from josh. Josh has been good but the experience was not great. (not josh's fault)
  9. Mmm. Still very p*ssed off. (especially about having to risk returning my 6.75 via customs) But maybe ive been a bit harsh on Josh. I dont feel sorry enough to apologize for my comments (yet) but considering the amount of crooks out there The "cartel" dont seem that bad.
  10. Been B*tchin a bit about Josh recently. But looking at this list i am thinking that maybe I should count myself very lucky to have found this site and a dealer that is not going to blatantly rip me off. There must be thousands of people out there that have paid good money for nothing. I am still p*ssed about the fact I still dont have my watch yet and will be waiting at least another 6 weeks for it, and the worst, risking customs getting my watch when I returned it. but I suppose it could have been much worse. Thanks rwg.
  11. Hey guys. sorry if this has been covered. I understand eurotimez is no longer selling the sosf because of lume issues. Chriss says he will supply but cannot qc the lume cause they are not up to scratch. Forgive my ignorance but I thought this was a "super rep" Any ideas guys. I really want one. Is the lume that bad? Surely It cant be with all those reviews.
  12. Fair enough. If youve got a trustworthy dealer in china fantastic. Nearly half price watches. I would take a punt. where do I buy? However for a first purchase there is no way you want to spend 2 months sorting out the possible piece of cr*p you could be sent. For a first watch I would definately pay 40% more to secure a good rep. Would defo factor in a month for delivery. I dropped a $1000 for my 1st buy. a briet 6.75 a tag and a sub 5 weeks ago. returned the breit 2 weeks ago and its still not in china, and the tag bracelet is faulty keeps popping open so I cant wear it. If I had the choice again I would have paid for qc. Only just found out eurotimez is uk based. I think If you are happy to pay $400 for a good rep and willing to wait a month or so that is the way to go.
  13. Biggest decision you need to make after what watch you want is how you want to do business and what risks you are prepared to take. No qc? if you get a dud be prepared for the long haul. I would not buy without qc personally.
  14. hi mate. sent my white face back to china recently. defo not white. more a champagne colour. pics are a little misleading on most sights.
  15. Thanks V. Maybe i'm not such a [censored] after all I thought it was a gt. the tourbillon looked nice too. cost a bit more than the gt i bet.
  16. Ok. I think that colclusively demonstrates what a heathen I truly am. Cant tell the difference between a breit gt and a chopard mille miglia That chopard is the one he usually wears though. he defo doesent seem to be a watch nut cause he has been wearing that constantly for years. It is not his new watch though. the chopard (gt!) is his usuall one. Thanks bigpops for the heads up. I happen to like cowell. If he pulled up in his maybach or his bentley or his ferrari I would defo say hello. Are you trying to tell me if you saw him you wouldnt want to see what he was wearing on his wrist?
  17. As I clicked add reply I had a feeling I shouldnt be asking about x factor. sorry
  18. No offence buddy, its just that I dont want to be a big boy. I just want the watch that I paid for on the 13th of September to look like the one I ordered and to be on my wrist. So to get a good service from a dealer do I have to spend lots of money first? And you are damn right. I am envious of every member that has ever bought a rep and recieved it in a week without having to send the thing back because the person that posted it couldnt even be bothered to look at the thing and see it had a problem. My rep didnt need qc it just needed someone that had eyes.
  19. Probably only the brits here can see, but on X factor at the moment simon cowell has changed his watch. He used to wear a bentley gt on leather one of my top 5 watches. (suprised cowell regularly wears only a 5k watch.) This new one is a white faced, gold case on leather strap. Its got a big skeleton subdial at 6 and is about 45mm I would say. Could it be a breitling mulliner? Been watching for a close up shot with my sky plus ready to pause but cant see it properly. Any ideas? I know he has probably got loads of watches but he has always worn the gt on x factor until now.
  20. Just as a side point though mate. in business you bend over backwards for newbie customers coz they are the ones who are likely to be spending more money. It seems to work the other way around here. From my experience it seems you need to earn your stripes with the dealers. I have heard all sorts of stories about dealers giving instant refunds, sending a replacement before they recieve your broken watch, free straps, big discounts on your next order and so on. It seems these cherries are reserved for the big boys and not the newbies. Just a newbies opinion.
  21. Hey buddy. Sorry to hear that. Dont know about ruby but I dont think anyone has been completely screwed over from a dealer recomended on the forums. and I doubt (hope) you wont be either. sent my breit 6.75 back to china and I am bricking it that customs are gonna get it and I will lose my watch and my $400. I am sure lots of people will tell you not to worry but you still dont have your watch so it is a [censored]. sorry im not more help just a newbie myself. hope it goes well.
  22. Having been a very experienced addict of more than one vice, Ultimately I do know the only way forward is to buy more yayo!!!!! (Of the rep variety of course)
  23. Your right its the uncertaintly that is the killer. My thoughts when ordering were: its no problem because you will eventually get your watch. but technically thats not true. I wanna play, I just dont want to pay a $400 joining fee. I asked josh outright. "where do we stand if the watch get siezed?" He told me he has never lost a watch to customs sent by registered airmail" That is a reassuring answer. However I would have loved him to say "No problem. Prove it and I will take the hit"
  24. This looks interesting. Site doesnt seem to want to show me any breits at the mo. will look into hontwatch. Do the garuantee's only apply one way though?
