    So, anyway. Yeah, I was surfing through Netflix instant streaming section, bored, and I came across an indie film starring Daniel Craig; Flashbacks of a Fool.

    Hmmmmm 'Bond' in a coming of age indie drama? So I started watching it. It was only OK, but then, there was this pivotal moment when Felicity Jones was doing a panto to 'Roxy Music' 's If There Was Something. I went through a Roxy stage when I first discovered Bowie, and Eno, and Jobeson and Wetton, Fripp, Jamie Cross and all those pioneering alternative rockers from Britain. I am a dyed in the wool mainstream British Invasion to British Metal fanatic but, I loved bands like Roxy and King Crimson because no one in my clique had any clue. They all thought Bowie was literally gay but totally missed the fact that all those sorts were part of a clandestine British art college movement. A movement away from established mediums of paint, brush and stone and used music, fashion, marketing and alternative culture as palette, canvass, medium and gallery all in one package as a 'touring band'. There is the further genius in this thread.

    I had never been aware of Felicity Jones. Very eerily she could double for my wife at her age then. So, if you're not at least 50, have a copy of Roxy Music's debut disc on vinyl, had met the girl from Surrey, won her and married her despite an ocean between you? Well, I just don't know what to say. Sorry? Would 'sorry' do? :)

    I bought this from Eddie Lee to replicate my old man's 1680. It was caught up in customs, on both sides of the pond. Eddie took care of all that with an apology and a ".........please do not freak out and start PayPal dispute.......I will take care of you." Oh. OK. "What's a PayPal dispute?" I didn't know [censored] from Shinola then. His (my Father's watch) is not a Red Sub, and without mods, comparing the two side by side, it is apparent, the exercise, was a total failure. I still have the watch tho'. And more importantly, a mental image of the Asian dealer on his motorbike, wearing an Elvis wig. In Canada. So, I have that going for me. Which is nice.

    On this particular model the 30 minute counter at 3 is the 12 counter, 12 hour counter at 6 is the second hand counter, and ordinary seconds at 9 is the 30 minute counter.

    is the deal breaker for me. I have faith the newly configured 7750 will be used in the Moonie. When? Doesn't matter. I missed the first runs w/domed plexi way back when. It's been five years waiting since. Patience like an oyster. Patience pays in passing zones and 'replica'.

    Which is a shame, because, if nothing else, and through everything else, 'Barack Obama' had, for a brief and shining moment there, transcended 'race'. His own. My own. The healthcare debate has been a good debate. It just took Jimmy Carter to get our heads out of the clouds and back looking at things in the proper order; the Black race is down, it will take the White race to help them up. If Jimmy wants to help the president or any of the races, maybe he should just pick up a hammer, drag some yellow lumber into the last century and build another habitat. For humility.

    Would you care to explain your comment ? Just because I am new does not mean I cannot have an opinion ! The fact of the matter is - this guy has mucked people around without responding to their communications but having taken their money, for unacceptable periods of time. If you think that is acceptable then I would suggest you need a new playbook !

    Do you feel it is OK for someone to take peoples money and then neither send them their product OR reply to their emails for 2 months plus Demsey ? I make no apologies for my post, which any reasonably person could see has absolutely nothing to do with being new to the site and everything to do with common decency. Being a "platinum" member does not give you the right to treat new members with derision either Demsey. Perhaps that is something you find difficult to perceive.

    a sign of a serious problem in his life.

    He had an engagement broken off recently. Some may say that is not serious, and not an excuse if a reason at all to not fulfill commitments. Then again, some find themselves on that island at the bottom of a rum bottle, or, sitting on the edge of what was once 'their' bed, thinking all sorts of irrational and rash thoughts.

    Asim will be OK. I'm sure everyone will get their stuff.
