  1. Hey Guys..

I fell in love with the Railmaster last night, and after reading a bit about it here, I tried to figure out which dealer to use.

    Silix-prime:

    $185 + $28 shipping = $213

    38x46x10mm

    ETA 2824

    Saphire with AR

    WO-Mart:

    $189 including shipping

    41x10mm

    ETA 2836

    Saphire with AR

    Trusty

    $238 + $25 shipping = $263

    40x8mm

    ETA 2836-2

    Saphire

    Joshua

    $238 + $30 shipping = $268

    40x8mm

    ETA 2824-2

    Saphire

I've bought all my latest watches from Josh, but also lots from Trusty. Only a couple from Silix and one from Paul.. The only problem is the price. These watches are pretty much the same, and with a price difference of $100, but with an image of a rusty LV band from my last WO-mart purchase in my head, I'm am not sure what to do.

Anyone here got the Railmaster from WO-Mart or Silix?

    Regards

    Thor

  2. Or you can forget the whole surveillence thing and get one of these: Quantum Sleeper

Its a good idea, but it won't help me and the other innocent tennants here who have to pay for damages done by a few troublemakers in the building.

Re. the wireless system, we are just talking about monitoring a few hallways, so if people can disturb the signal in any way, it won't happen here. It seems the price for a cabled system is at arond $10k and a wireless $4. The only problem is finding a system good enough. I testet Dlink wireless cameraes yesterday, and the software for surveillance is just crap. The picture quality was ok.

Anyone with tips on wireless will be very helpful.

    Thanks :)

  3. Dont live there, but my company has an office there, so I'am over perhaps once a month.

You should absolutely look forward to your trip. Stockholm is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe in my opinion.

Just too bad all the sexy girls have moved to Oslo to work for higher salaries in bars, restaurants and clothing shops ;)

  4. Hi guys,

Any of you know of a good sollution to this problem.

I live in a building with 6 floors and we are planning on installing surveillance cameraes because of a lot of problems. But getting someone to put up a cabled sollution costs over $10 000.

I was thinking that perhaps a wireless system might be just as good. In adittion to the 6 floors we will also be monitoring the entrance. The only problem would be to get good signal strength all the way up to the 6th floor. Can this be done with repeaters? Can one use several repeaters all the way up to the 6th floor?

Greatful for any advice. Thanks. :)

  5. I keep hearing everywhere that it is expensive there. A guy at work says a mcdonalds meal (say 6 Euro here in London) is around 18 Euros there! Not that I want mcdonalds food, I prefer proper restaurants :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Lol.. its not that bad. According to the Big Mac index a Big Mac in Sweden is US 4.53, in London US 3.648.

    Thats burgernomics for you.

  6. Hey guys,

A while back I woke up and the glass on Broad Arrow had broken while it was in my winder. Strange, but true.

Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone here could help me fix it?

    Repaustria? Tommy?

Or, anyone know where I can find a replacement, and if the gen will fit?

Also, would it be hard to repair this myself?

    Regards

  7. Take it easy man...

I have sent him an order a couple of days ago, and no reply.

He might be busy or out of town, or something.

What makes you think that I am not taking it easy? I have posted a couple times in this thread without being rude or angry, just pointing out that the bracelet on my LV was rusty and that Paul hasn't replied to my messages - nothing else.

On the other hand, I do not believe that a customer should have to wait for over a week (and counting) for a reply on a 'support' issue. I tried Paul this once to see how he could be so much cheaper than the other dealers, and now I know why....

  8. My friend, a rusty bracelet is anything but an OK transaction. Rust stains or actual rust on the bracelet? This is supposed to be 316 grade stainless. For me, regardless of how smooth the money transaction went and how quicklly it was delivered, a rust tainted watch is simply unacceptable. if the bracelet is rusted, how do you know other parts of the watch haven't been compromised by moisture?

    Sorry, language barrier :-)

What I meant with transaction was that the payment and shipping/receiving the watch went smoothly. Of course I am not happy with rust on the watch. This is why I have been trying to get in touch with Paul.

    Regards

  9. Just got an LV from Paul. Transaction went ok. 1 1/2 weeks from payment to delivery, and the price was great. $119 delivered with DHL. Moneybookers.

Only problem is that the bracelet is filled with rust. Lots of rusty spots all over it. Other than that, it feels as good as my other Sub from Homer. Good quality feel to it.

Paul hasn't responded to my mails yet. I'll give him a few more days.
