Why not book the broken ones in with a watchmaker rather than write them off most mech things can be repaired
Sure, if you can find me one. I have't found a single person who wants to lay their hands on a rep.

Like the person who gets into seven car accidents per year, or goes through three failed
transmissions or engines in an row...we can't explain them all but user error is a factor....
Thank you. I appreciate being called an idiot

Did you ask the dealer ahead of time what his policy was on seized/lost in mail watches?
It is one of the most reputable dealers on the board, so but since the watches are lost on the way from me to him, I don't know how it works. Will send him a mail today.. Its a shame to loose over $500 + having two more faulty watches that I don't dare to send back because I am afraid that they will get lost again. So basically I have lost $1000.

Did you remember the instructions for setting and winding these 7750's. Don't change date between 10pm- 4am....let stop watch run minimum of 15 secs....don't push reset pusher while while stop watch running, always stop that function first. If you did and still had these problems, you relly didn't to well on the luck of the draw.........JKT
Yup, read Andies instructions on these.. I don't mind that watches break, but the fact that they disappear on the way to my dealer so that they can be fixed is really sad. Especially when insurance won't cover them.

I know there are already a couple of posts on this topic, but I thought I'd open one myself to share with you my experiences with this particular movement.
Its been a couple of months now since I ordered my first watch with the new 7750 28 800 movement. It was the new Tag Liink Chrono (Aerton Senna). This was the black version which I sold to a friend.
A week or so later I bought two more Tag Link Chronos. One black and one blue. One for my boss ( ) and one for me.
Then a week or so after that I bought an Omega SMP Chrono and an IWC Portuguese, both with the new 7750 also.
And soon after, trouble arrived. First, my boss' Link broke. Just wouldn't work at all. Tried winding etc, but it just 'slipped'. Then the SMP broke. Same problem as the Link.
Now, my second Link has also broken. Well, the watch is still running, but the stopwatch won't reset.
And today the IWC also broke. Same problem as the two first. Just wont run at all.
So, the only watch with the new 7750 which is still working is the first Link I bought, which I sold to a friend of mine.
And, just to make these events even more perfect. The two watches which I have sent back to my dealer have disappeared in the mail, and they will only compensate $80 for the loss if they aren't found.
Now how great is that?

Here it is (borrowed one of Gregs pics. Same as mine. Crazy horse, black stichings.

OK, just received my Carsy Horse (as Paul would say it), and its un-[censored]in-believable. The quality is great. Big, fat and juicy.. I just have to repeat myself. This strap makes me horny!
-
Does the whole movement stop - or is it only the chrono-part?
The whole movement. On the SMP and the first Link, the movement 'slips' when you try to wind it at appx the 10th wind.
-
Both of the watches I returned last week were with the new 7750.
Just now, another of my Tag Link Chronos stopped working. Same problem as with the other two watches, just didn't want to live anymore.
So, now I have a nice 3 out of 4 7750 watches that are dead. Two Tag Links and one Omega SMP Chrono. This just isn't fair

How about the new 28800 bps asian 7750 are they really better than the old ones ?
What are your experiences with this new movement.
Both of the watches I returned last week were with the new 7750.

TTK's one is slightly different as he gets the bezel aligned, but it's still the same version as the rest.
Joshua also delivers his with realigned bezel

I think this post appeals more to our US members. Am I wrong?

Well, now I am calm. Fedex needed an invoice, so I gave them one, he he. The customs were about to contact the sender about this issue, no need for that.... What made me think is that Fedex stated that the customs after the "x-ray" was suspicious about the Probably don't need to describe it this well, Ken, maybe this is not the best way to pack these babies anymore. Also 3 packages from the same sender was something that made them
Can't stop staring at these two watches, what can I say.... Ingy and PO both totally blew me off the chair Nothing wrong with my first replica (Avenger Ti), but the feeling of these two really was something else. Will post pictures, but must read the post about how taking good watch pictures first
Thanks for all the advices.
Glad to hear it worked out. As I said, I've received about 30 watches or so, and not one has been seized by customs, even though a great deal of them have been opened.

Hi !
I'll be visiting Thailand next month for appo. 10 days . Will be visiting Pattaya & Bangkok.
Can anyone suggest some good sources to get good quality replicas there ? Earlier I've seen Reps in Patpong & MBK, but the quality of reps sold in these places is BAD !
Any suggestions are welcome
RG
My experience too. Tried to get the people at MBK to find some under the counter watches, but it's hard to get them to understand what you mean.
