  1. I think it's the way forward to be honest, I'm not like a lot of you guys, don't think I would feel very confident pulling one apart to mod it! In my case a basic noob one would be a false economy I think. Not to say they are not good, but a euro one has all the quality to start with from what I can see. On eurotimez site he has the noob ones, which I understand, then the Euro versions which thanks to this site I also have a grasp with (by-tor's reviews) but there is another link with just 'rolex' that has some stunners in there too, Swiss ETA again it's the stainless strap and case, black face with gold center band and bezel, love that too but can't place which one it is (not noob, Wm9, euro) it's $375, the euro is a peach but I would like to know about that one too Anyone got one?
  2. Yup I hear ya there, I'm thinking I might get the euromariner with Swiss ETA it's also 50m water resistant too, 480 bucks but seeing as I will be using it regular I think it would be worth the investment. From what I have read here it seems to be the best rep so far, only thing is I we to figure out if it's more authentic with the rolexrolexrolex engravings on the rehaut or not. Thanks for all the help so far guys, awesome forum!!!
  3. is that it? lol Great!
  4. LMAO.........pi** off! Its all good, I think I've learned that things dont happen overnight in this little world now.........its all groovy!
  5. Funny that......never saw that when I searched. Ta.
  6. Got a reply from a dealer, said the swiss movements are much more reliable, with swiss & expect a minimum of a year? His has lasted 4 in his sub so far (but does that mean he's doing well??), but being swiss surly they should last 10-15 EASY! Loads of vintage watches on the market that are still going strong 40-50 years later! Hoping it holds out for a year having spent $350 bucks on it is like its a ticking timebomb, even a cheap seiko for $40 will last an age! Minimum of 1 yr?
  7. So the more beats, the smoother the sweep.......... and asian is not as good as swiss......... Getting there people........I'm getting there! lol
  8. I am waiting!, dropped Chris from Eurotimez a line too yesterday at about 4pm yesterday, and on his site he says to try and allow 24hrs....... I'm just so eager to get some hardware on my wrist!
  9. Whats the TRL then?
  10. Ok, my kids toy is now broken and it never worked.
  11. haha! Gonna try it now.........brb
  12. Thanks........and nice reviews btw.......kept me busy for HOURS. If I get divorced for sitting to much at this laptop, then it will be your fault. lol
  13. Fair enough, thought someone might know in General forum. Apologies!
  14. Ok thats cleared it all up, fantastic, thanks for taking the "TIME" (geddit?) to reply Urabus! Beer is winging its way over to you right now! lol
  15. Its pure fantasy? the Noobmariner comes from the noobfactory though does it not? Why is the one from chris 300 then if its for sale from narikaa for 100? Sorry getting confused again.
  16. Hi Frank, this is the one http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=82255 Thats a Noob one........and its a lot more than $100
  17. All due respect and all that.........I have searched the topics, have read all about the noob watches, and how great they are, what I'm asking the question because I want YOUR opinions, people who actually OWN these two watches, thats all. Please dont assume I'm not looking, i think sometimes there can be to much info out there, there is a lot to go through and if anyone is willing to help thats great. Someone with experience in both and an opinion on them would be nice. Ta.
  18. Sweet thanks guys, am learning loads today! LOL!
  19. If the Noobmariner is so wonderful and meant to be one of the best replica's, then why does the price not reflect this? Eurotimes sells them for $260.......yet other dealers are selling non noobmariners for over $300! in the UK they are $330! Why are the Noob ones not more expansive, you get what you pay for normally do you not? S
  20. Noobfactory this, Noob that, looking on the Eurotimes website and he has NoobMariners and NoobCollections........ ? Noob? I'm a Noob!
  21. Whats the difference...........both made by Rolex, one has a different name........ Same process to make them, but one is way cheaper.........why? Confusing. Tudor seems exactly the same less the Rolex crown on the face, still has rolex on the back and crown!
  22. Nice one thanks mate, very interesting!
  23. I see things like 15, 17 21, 27 Jewels what does it mean?? Is a 15 not as good as a 27?
