There are two possibilities here:
1) This guy is sent by George, or he is George doing some scamming.
2) He's one happy customer who recieved a watch he paid TOO much for.
And yes, some replicas MAY be water resistant. If you want a $100 replica to be water resistant, send it to someone who CAN guarantee it to become resistant. That's some extra $***, but still way cheaper than George's "water resistant" ones.

WORD!!!
I can only speak for myslef.
I buy a quality watch for <$300 incl. shipping. It happens to have a Omega logo, and is to the untrained eye genuine looking. IT'S A BONUS!!!
I never say my watch is gen if I'm called out. If someone non watch nut says:
- It must be fake!
- Please, then point out the flaws. (that shut them up)
Onto the different movements.
I have >10 asian 21j movements and NONE (knock on wood) have failed yet.
I got one DOA though.
I think the fear of asian 21j movements are silly, or I might have been lucky.
Did any of our dealers, whom you gotten defective watches from, ask any questions?
The only question I've been asked:
Can your local watchsmith repair it, or do you want to return it to us?
In the very near future China will be the LARGEST "westernized" economy, far stronger than EU and USA.
The production of counterfeits have to move somewhere else.
When African countries have the correct machines and tools, we'll have the production there.
