Unfortunately, steam penetrated inside the casing during a hot bath but it is still in perfect working order. There was no water inside beside of steam.I have ask two local watchsmith but neither of them have a large enough tool to open the case in order to get rid of the steam inside. About a week ago, I noticed that the hands are corroded.Now I am undecided as of what to do with this DSN mm20. Either I sell it or I mod it. However, as you know modding is pretty expensive and I am not so sure if I can live with the gap between the crownguard and casing which can be seen in my pics. I am looking for a dlc mod by avitt and want to be completely satisfied with the watch. I am still awaiting a quote from Vac for doing some mods. I got this mm20 from Davidsen back in November last year when I joined this forum. There is a solid RXW backplate as well as a mainstream Davidsen strap included. I made additiional wholes with a drill bit so the finish isnt great. I wud consider to sell this watch for arround 150 pounds and prefer buyers from the Uk. if interested just send me a pm. Thx a lot Mr Kruzer for your professional opinion. I am already an owner of a Davidsen MM20 (less domed sapphire) but just wanted to try out other relible dealers. Maybe I should get the fiddy from Davidsen again. Do I need to bear in mind anything when I place the order e.g. dials, lume composition etc. I am also planning on a project to turn my mm20 in a unique masterpiece by adding chief AR, Vac lume, better CG and Crown and last but not least an avitt dlc coating. As you know the mods that I intend to do will easily be in excess of 500 usd. I am not sure if this is worth the whole procedure or just get another DSN fiddy and simply get it DLCed. Hm no its not a joke! From my newbie eyes this watch looks pretty good innit? The seller has also confirmed it to have proper sapphire and a swissmade unitas eta. The ictures are nice aren they. Pls let me know if there are inherent faults with the watch I have mentioned before. 330 sounds like a good deal to me but I might be wrong if there are faults on the watch. I am confused now. pls enlight me.

I have just double checked and the watch was returned back to the seller. This confirms my thoughts thats its a fake. Beside I would not buy a fake for more than 1000usd including all mods.

While watching through the forum I came across a new source as a newbie and was suprised by the price and the quality of the watch detail taking into consideration the nice engravings on the Gseries SWISS unitas eta moevement, Crownguards finish, real sapphire non distorting from shharp angles(not synthetic). LOL Hi folks I am usually a Panerai fan but since i saw the new RB III I am very tempted to buy that version but it will cost a wobbing 648 usd. Anyone got this version of AP? I am a newbie and really need to get some advice as to where to buy the best version. At the moment I think trusty and puretime are offering them exclusively. I was wondering if they were one and the same product. The only drawback i noticed from the watch is white frame which is left from cutting the red dial if you know what I am talking about.

128usd is only the mainstream price for getting the nw generation mm20 offered by Angus and trusty for example. But relying on my newbie senses I think it is still a fake.

pls just have a look on the caseback and you will notice the difference. I know a gen mm20 will fetch around 1300-2000usd depending on condition. If you got a rare pvd edition you might reach 2500usd. But he one on the ebay site is definately not a gen. I think someone is trying to sell a 128 usd replica of the infamous mm20 as gen. Pls verify my thoughts. The lether strap seem to be of much lower quality with a spacing gap. Also the stamp of the rxw crown is not hollow as it should be. thx everone for your swift reply. I might rather buy a play watch from Jackson tse which are very good considering value for money wise. I especially like the nice flight strap on his mm13 which only cost like 78 usd. Davidsen is great but also pricey and sometimes your not sure if you will get a masterpiece or problem child. Maybe it is important to know if these fake sapphire will explode. Anyone else experienced this problem on the new generation of syntheic sapphires?

I just found out that the watch is using a synthic shappire. I only wonder if this is type of glas is prone to self destruction expeienced by earlier models. hope vsome veterans can help me answering this question.

An unlimate defty with a tourbillon movement and dlc coating wud be awesome. i wud be ready to pay 800 usd for that. The zenith tourbillon version of the defty is in mu opinion the coolest looking watch ever. My second fav is the fiddy .

pls let me know once you bought the strap from repgeek. I am really looking for a nice strap which is worthy a 200 bucks DLC transformation.
