I got mine from TimeZone sales corner.
I recommend one that is unlikely to be replicated properly...
If you can afford it get a chrono or GMT.. maybe even in titanium (havent seen any Omega reps in titanium )

don't bother sending any more emails/pms. leave it a week and if he doesn't reply, send a polite email enquiring what is happening.

He was last active on RWG at 4pm on Saturday, but it now says he was there today morning at 10:55am.

I see ubiquitous reading this topic, he's the expert on this... hope for a reply!
I agree with getting the MBW/WM as they have 1:1 cases (as far as I know) and genuine parts will fit them.

The drill sounds dangerous!

Correct

however when posting those pictures they must observe rule #47:
use subheading 'ehtolcad look here' so that everyone knows what the post contains
maciek already broke rule #47, and has been warned
I thought the rule was "daclothe look here"
off to watch Liverpool's win over Newcastle... see you after dinner

what if two people log in from the same home network, and possibly interchangeably use the computers?
for example, a husband and wife?
-
Would that be you?

And I'm in the EU too.
-
That's true and i'm looking around for genuine autom speedy but here in EU it's not so easy to find bargains.
Also, buying a used watch on internet is rather risky.
Especially in Italy.
If I ever decide to sell mine I'll let you know, but mine is white dial automatic with gold bezel, winder and pushers.

Ok, now that we've settled into our new home quite nicely, I'd like to post this as a reminder to the members to please review the forum rules
It's at the top of the page in case you didn't know where the rules were located.
Someone took the coveted "JETMID"... and this should be reserved for the one true jetmid...
Same with The Zigmeister etc.
is clive here?
also dealer names. EL gets busy and may not even know what's gone on.

Is Gran still there?

Lol, just kidding. Very nice!! , would that look good on a nearly 18 year old?? .......I'm saving up....I've got...9 thousand saved....hmmmm.....
How did you manage to get that much at age 17???

Is this Clive? I know he's a GMT fanatic too, I too like GMT watches since I travel a lot.
The problem is most GMT watches don't have a chronograph, thermometer, 5 alarms, world time, barometer, etc...
Not Clive, though I consulted him about his GMTs.
I have 2 Omega Seamaster GMTs and a couple of EL PAM GMTs coming through soon with 2893-2 movement, same as Clive's. I know it won't be functionally as good as the Omega's though. Apparently the factory has stopped making these though. Silix don't have any for that reason, and EL said I got his last two.
I like travelling too, but buying these watches means no money to travel
Supposed to go on a friend's stag do in Lativa in May... was hoping to go possibly Germany in Jue (World Cup), then a Spanish island in July.
My trips to Canada and Argentina have to be shelved for now... way too expensive, and those up there probably will cost me too much now I have bought way too many PAMs!
-
I own it, it is by far 1:1 You just have to like Ti
The Avenger Seawolf in Titanium looks pretty good.
-
You're probably right.
There are watches difficult to rep just because of the movement inside as well... it would become too expensive as a rep. For example, a genuine El Primero movement perhaps? It would definitely cost a lot more than regular reps.
-
You can also use a GMT watch as a compass. When everything is set to the local time (including the GMT hand), if the 12 hour hand is pointed at the sun, the GMT hand will point North. Obviously, if the 24 hour GMT hand is pointing at the sun, then the 12 o'clock position on the dial will point North.
So forget all these watches, get a bunch of GMTs like me

Nice watch by the way

Saving the picture, it is labelled 74 and not 47?
http://www.lacotedesmontres.com/Galerie-No_4092.htm
has the 47 as a different watch.
-
Isn't it all about what makes you happy? Much as I've tried, I just can't get excited about Pams 'cause I just don't like the way they look. (Flame-retardant suit is on.) For many, a watch is a highly personal choice. For me, they're like women - I like most of them. I say whatever floats your boat.
Naturally. Everyone is different, or we would all look the same and have a wife / girlfriend that all look the same. Wouldn't be as much fun.
The girl I think that is the greatest looking girl, you may not ... (and a friend of mine *definitely* does not!).
It looks like watches and women are more form over function.... otherwise you would get that babushka Olga, the matron-like Russian woman that looks like... well that's enough you get the idea.
-
Works out better for me... I think it made me spend more, leaving me broke... so silix are the winners here!
Ordering a few yourself means you get more of a discount, though to be fair I am usually getting ETA-based watches, but the Lemania/Venus copy are Asian so I get a PAM192 out of it at a good price. It probably works out that the discount applied takes care of the EMS postage and saves a little on the total.

And don't forget the people or it would be an empty shell.

Great selection and prices you have narikaa, maybe once my bank account starts looking positive again...

Thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the Panerai pictures when I can - it's 3:30am here - although I doubt the titanium IWC GST Chrono has it, it's still good to know how it's done.
