  1. Dont know if he will like it, because Breitlings are really big mofos and you cant really "hide" a breitling under your sleve.

Plus with breitling you always have the problem you have with a rolex, ppl think its either fake or you are a snob, or both!

The Breitling navitimer's are fairly small comparitively, and a beautiful watch! I would say they are a very classy watch, and wouldn't be branded as snobby!

  2. May be worth me noting that Finepics is a fine man. He has been very good to me over the past few months, giving me some sound advice and information.

He will not rip you off, and bearing in mind the time of year, it is a very busy time for everyone! Be patient and you will receive a service of highest quality from him!

  3. the omega planet ocean is very close to the orignal (i have the 42mm in black - what is known as the fourth generation) and it is almost indistinguishable.

I have heard that the chrono planet ocean is not as accurate. If he likes chrono's I would recommend the new Seamster professional chrono that has just been released.

  4. Beautiful Breitling... and definitely the best one yet. And the natural 12-9-6 subdial arrangement... without SERIE SPECIALE markings, even. Kudos to the factory for making this so well.

Which 12,9,6 dial layouts were meant to have the Serie Speciale on the dial? Was it only a few that Breitling made as a special edition (fighters navitimer) or was it all Navitimers with this layout?

I only ask as I really like this too, but not sure whether to purchase it as is it meant to have a brushed gold finish and the above mentioned markings?

    Thanks

  5. The 7750 movement naturally has sub dials at 12,9, and 6. Like you see in the IWC GST, Tag Heur link chrono and the new breitling GT 44mm.

The 7753 is modified, so that the dials are then set at 3,6,9. In the old asian version, it was a bit of a risk when buying them, as were even the standard 7750's.

It will be interesting to see how the new movement is! As soon as one comes out with 12,9,6 I'l be in for a purchase!
