  1. Soooo...this is the place we've received an anonymous tip about last night. Looks like a free harbor for a lot of money. So, son, have you paid your taxes lately? No, I didn't think so. Guess I'll have to start collectig taxes of all these illegal money. I've added my sign at the top of the page, so feel free to came pay me a visit. Maybe a small gift might eas up on your taxes ;)

Well, we knew it had to happen sooner or later...

We all know that only two things are guaranteed in life

    Death & Taxes... :(

  2. I want to get my wife an mp3 player for mothers day, but have no clue about them. I see ones with memory of 512mb, 1gb, and so on...

The 512 mb ones are tiny, which is what she will want for her intended use at the gym and stuff, so does anyone know if 512mb is big enought to hold about 50 songs.

    thanks

It depends on the quality/size of the mp3's

Lets say at 5mb per mp3, you will be able to get around 100 good quality songs on there....but..... Don't be a cheap ass. Go ahead and get her something like an Ipod nano for about $140

You can never have too much space, but you sure can have too little..

  3. I'm a noob trying to learn, and this phrasing in the description impressed me: 'Aftermarket watch'. I do understand that I still have a lot to learn. Next lesson: Aftersales watch ??

Complete BS... His way of saying it's fake, and if the buyer complains after the sale, he can state that he was honest in his listing and that the user should have known a real daytona wouldn't sale for so little.

I mean, damn.... Look at the subdials... Daytona's don't have day/date on the subdials... :bangin:

  4. Ziggy,

I have a womans Frank Muller with ETA 2671 that has stopped running. My guess is that the oils have dried up in it cause it only ran for a couple of days before it killed over... :(

Any ideas on what (other than a "Dried up Movement") could cause this to happen?

I've added some pics from Joshua's web site so you can see the watch I'm speaking of

  5. With that many problems, have you thought of asking for a replacement?

Na, I'm gonna send it off for service and if it's determined that something is major wrong, then I'll ask for a new one...

My guess is that it sat around for a long time and the oils have dried up or something like that. Ziggy can work magic, so I'm confident that he can get it working just fine.

  6. How is the bracelet? I've heard there have been problems with the bracelet with screws falling out.

    Well, that's another issue

The watch died a couple of days after my wife put it on...

I need to send it off to ziggy for service, but havn't got around to it yet. So..... Can't really say if the screws are good or not cause she's not really wore it enough to tell, but it does feel nice. Overall she really loves the watch, I just have to get it running again and hopefully a little water resistance...

  7. Excellent service from Andrew (TWG), first off.

I compared my LV to gen and the crystal does not appear to protrude out as far as the genuine. Is this just my eyes or should I opt for a modification?

I want real shaphire and preferable an etched crown at 6...

    Thoughts anyone?

In my opinion I wouldn't worry about the crystal... 99% of people wouldn't notice it. If however, it bugs the shit out of you then why not...

By the way, it's odd that you just got an lv without the etched crown. My LV does have the etched crown at the 6:00 position and I've had it about a year :g:
