V1 has supposedly better finish but has a shiny CP instead of matte on V2 v2 has a darker pvd finish but has the matte CP and better dial fonts. based on your experience is it worth getting the V1 and swapping a dial from the v2 and having CP worked on? thanks.

well my brother paid for it via paypal so i can file a dispute anytime. im just hoping that the guy pulls thru and ships the watch filed a dispute mins ago and he replied almost immediately and says he will ship the watch at the end of the week due to a family emergency. so i guess i wait til the end of the week. im in NYC watch is somewhere north of where i am

same here. im a member of numerous equipment forums and not only watches so im very careful. in fact remember Yeo aka PAMFRIED? purchased one of my best watches from him years ago then he scammed me on my last purchase. this one though is different and the guy could be going thru some real family emergency so i dont want to do anything insensitive or drastic.

guys i wont be mentioning any names but im in a bit of a pickle. i have bought stuff from this person on one other occassion. watch was perfect and as described. i pay for another watch and am real excited. paid for the item around mid jan 14ish. part of the reason why i liked this guy is he was always so diligent in replying and answering all my questions via email. he obviously has push email on his mobile as his emails and replies were very quick. soon after i sent numerous emails asking about the tracking number no replies. no worries all good. on jan 23 He replies back saying he has shipped the item last week and to drop him a line when i receive item. so shipping must have been jan 18,19,20 Wow cool im excited!! watch did not arrive and numerous emails and pms later i still get no reply. on jan 29 He apologizes and says a family emergency occured, and hed ship the item out first thing on monday JAN 30. oK SO now im a bit confused and ticked for obvious reasons but can understand that a family emergency superceeds anything else. today i followed up on the watch shipping and he replies saying the watch has not yet been shipped due to the family emergency. Yet the guy is active in the watch forums and as early as jan 23,24,25 posting watches he received, taking photos etc etc. not too busy to do this but in a emergency he cant ship my watch. ive been scammed before by guys who sold me 2-3 watches so now im worried. dont want to be heartless and callous but i was obviously lied to when he said he shipped watch on the 23rd. what should i do?

well said, i as well had problems with one of my watches and the dealer offered to replace the watch for the obvious flaws. i should get my replacement any time now.

i have strap # 1 and 2 in your pics. they are awesome. strap 3 is nice but i found it too be boring after a while. the 4rth is nice but for the gals imho. good luck. for class #1 for all around versatility and sporty attraction go for #2.

awesome, encouraging story, it was meant to be! no wonder the strap looked soo good. wouldnt buy a gen one for $550 but i would acept it as a gift. thanks for sharing

id consider the black themes. it is by far the most authentic looking rep by far. also its not a limited edition so it wont be so unbeleivable to own:) i have the safari and although i believe the dial to be wrong, changing the strap into a black colored one has truly made a difference. it no longer looks like a safari.

who did you get the watch from? maybe get in touch with the dealer. i for one had minor issues with my second ap r00 and the dealer fixed it and is the process of replacing my watch as we speak.

how is the quality of the rubber strap? im seriously considering this over the stock hornback croc of the pefect clones

here are pics of the ap bands strap. quality is so/so but i got it cheap so no biggie. i cannot use the strap coz i completely overlooked the fact tat i would need some lug pins to connect the strap to the metal pieces. can anyone hook me up?

i had the gold le as well #124 it was a great watch, awesome quality and build unfortunately i got bored and tired of it.
