  1. For those interested, APbands has a holiday sale running at this moment. Products are still expensive but there are huge discounts in items (conversion kit included).
  2. That is not a Panerai. The watch is produced by fashion brand "Ritmo Mundo"
  3. My 2 cents: Richard Mille 005. It has an skeleton dial, but perhaps a plate can be added to the eta movment and the rotor modified. RM chronogrphas are nicer, but more difficult to replicate. Genuines run +$10K The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony is also nice, big dress watch that can be easily replicated. This is a "modern" dress watch with a 40mm lareg case and huge curved dial and sapphire glass. I have tried it on and is gorgeous. Anyway, maybe my suggestions are not going to like to most of the people, since most of the pepole in the forum is going for sub diver watches that I'm sure were going to be replicated anyway by other factories. Somebody showed a nice Lange, which others commented was "another boring dress watch". Well, replica dress watches are now boring beacuse very few high grade replica dress watches have been made so far. Jorge
  4. Yes, you are right. I have been looking for a while at the web and could find only the dial but not the bezel. It is better the buy the replica directly with the grey dial. As I mentioned I saw only the UTC. I will check with the dealers, but if anyone knows something I will appreciate the info. As for AR coating, it seems all replicas available in the market have only a light coating.
  5. I have never been a huge Breitling fan, but I recently got interested in the Chrono Avenger. Several day ago I was visiting a local AD to check another watch and took a minute to try the Avenger. What an amazing watch I must say. It is big, but still sits very well on the wrist and is much more comfortable than other smaller watches. I think I fell in love with the titanium grey dial version. I have been looking for several days in the dealer web pages but could not find that watch, with the exception of the UTC version (I don’t like that dial). Does anybody know where I can get one. I have also read that there is a "good" version with decent AR coating. Please let me know if you have some tips on that. Thanks in advance, Jorge
  6. OK you have done your homework. At the end is your decision to buy or not. I still think the replica is very good for the money. You are getting the same Valjoux 7750 movement than the original...well Asian version and a pretty decent shaped case, correct size and a fair dial for how much? 1/10th of the price? Let's keep focus and always think these are replicas, not the real McCoy. Unless we are talking of some of the mass produced replicas (Submariner, 44mm Panerai's, Omega PO), we cannot expect that the replicas are going to be flawless. Take the IWC Jones for example. I have and it is a pretty nice watch, with a pretty good Swiss caliber on it. I have and love it. I can list the flaws: bolder font, incorrect sub dial, slimmer case, incorrect case back look (of course!), lug size, etc. Still I do not see much people complaining about it. Good luck with you decision.
  7. I don't know why people keep saying that this watch is inaccurate. I guess the confusion is because people think this is the Doppelchronograph, while this replica is actually from the Flieger Chronograph. I have checked the watch and its is very accurate and correctly sized, with the exception of the case back. The real Flieger Chronograph is 39mm in diameter just as the replica. People who is checking the IWC web page must take into account that IWC increased the size of its complete pilot watches line just this year. Flieger Chronograph increased from 39mm to 42mm, Doppelchronograph from 42mm to 44mm, and XV was substituted by a larger XVI model. Dial styles have also changed (previous ones were much nicer IMHO).
  8. Top quality for the money. One of the best purchases along Bros and Hadley Roma
  9. Don't worry. Real one is also dark grey. I was at watch dealer over the weekend and check on some real PO's. Watch is awesome and the grey dial combines very well with the brushed SS case and bracelet.
  10. Now, that is a nice movement. In some way it resembles the caliber of the original Portuguese. Nicer than the gen Jones caliber in my opinion. I am a little confused about the Jones size, in diverse dealer pages it says 42mm, 43mm or even 44mm. I asked some of them and they confirmed diverse sizes. also for the strap size (I am pretty sure I would have to replace the one that comes with the watch). Some say 22mm other 21mm (as CM confiremed). Can some of you that has already gotten the watch confirm the actual diameter? (different suppliers?).
  11. Thanks for the info and pictures guys. A rather unusual strap size for an unusual great watch. I think I am ordering one.
  12. By the way, could you tell us what is the strap size for the iWC Jones? I am not sure if it is 21mm or 22mm. Thansk in Advance. Coco
