How do you get the grease where there is metal on metal? Do you remove the rotor? Bear with me, I'm a noob to anything besides setting time. I just applied grease and it did nothing to silence the rotor noise.

I noticed the rehaust at the 6 oclock is of the serial number? Mxxxxxxx. I thought it was Rolex all around.

Thanks Dizzy! A few strokes of the hammer and both clasps are more secure. Darn shame it would run around $800 for two Rollie clasps. Might have to start looking, I plan on my Exp II to be a keeper.

Thanks for the compliments! I bought it from timesshop.net (2010 promo). Yeah, the crown does sit low and the bezel is one of the better I have seen for the price I paid. Lucky for me I'm happy the way she is. Adjusting the date is tricky but it changes over right at midnight so I'll wait to fix it.

I have read it might be but I can't confirm it is a noobmariner.

I picked this up from a trusted dealer from another forum. Once again a great price. I am most impressed with the correct black hour ring markers. I am not familiar enough with the Exp II to know its flaws but I see a couple. Flaws: - rehaut might be too deep and angled - the clasp is crap - adjusting the date require finesse. I have to rotate it down then up a tad for each date. Not a big concern, one that will be addressed when the movt dies. Overall I am very pleased. Now the pics:

I picked this up from a trusted dealer on another forum. It was god awful cheap and I am very pleased with it. It has a 21j movt and runs a little slow with the usual noisy rotor. I plan on fixing both when time provides. Flaws: - pin that holds the fliplock in place is too long - triangle where the pearl is is not symetrical. - I don't think the cyclops is centered 100% - insert needs to be sanded down All in all I am really pleased. It doesn't need to be perfect for me since it will be a beater or my gf will wear it. Now the pics (these are quick pics and I am no photog expert)
