  1. I think I will pass on this one too. Too expensive and i first want to know how the lume (essential for this watch) is. If there was QC and guarantee then i should pulled the trigger in a heartbeat. Because of all the hourmarkers on this watch I bet we will have a watch with a lot of misalligned markers, and I hate that :wounded1:

  2. Can someone tell me where can I order some springbar as well as some pin for the PO/SMP?

I would like to have an extra set of spring bar for both the SS bracelet and the rubber strap.

Will 1.8mm x 22mm spring bar fit the SS bracelet or it is just good for the rubber strap?

    Thank you

    I bought it here: watch-batteries.com

    they accept paypal

  3. I had the same problem (strap flexing away from the case) with my strap. I solved it by squeezing in a thicker springbar, 1.78mm I think. That solved the problem. Now, I can strap it thight on my wrist with no flex whatsoever. :)

OK, so fatter springbars will solve the problem. Just pushed out the "old" springbars with the link removal tool and ordered 2 sprinbars 22mm 1.8. Thanks for the tip guys! :victory:

  4. You are not the only one with that problem! The same happens to the strap that i bought from silix, what a let down! :wounded1:

I think everybody has this problem well maybe the guys with the gen straps has not.

    - "Nice watch you have, Rolex?"

    - "O-meg-a, but the silix rubber strap on it sucks" ;)

  5. BTW I'm not completely happy with the strap. Pic below shows why. When i strap it tight on my wrist and and I move my wrist then the rubber comes out of his place. Have this on both sides. When I do the strap looser than it happens less but still comes out when I move my wrist very much. Also the clasp feels kind of cheap and omega logo is alligned (thank god!) but look that it is stamped. Sorry for my bad english. hope you understand.

  6. And if it says, "kick ass strap, 24/22", does that mean you buy a 22mm deployment clasp or buckle?

Remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid people (like me) with questions :black_eye:

24 is for the lugs, 22 is for the buckle. You answered your own question ;)

  7. hello,

my new steelfish has been confiscated at fedex in the netherlands<_<

i had to sign a letter that customs send to me because it is not allowed importing replicas to the netherlands....duh...

the watch will definetly be destroyed(or the custom-officer is wearing my steelfish now,who knows?))

by signing that letter i will not be prosecuted because i "voluntarly" signed for it

    what did you order ?

    daan

Hmmm that's bad news. I feel sorry for your steelfish. But since when is the control in the Netherlands that good? I've imported about 10 reps to the Netherlands last year. Most were sent by Fedex, never had a problem. Maybe they have sharpened the control this year? In 2007 I just bought 1 watch, sent by Fedex and again no problem. This kind of messages are making me nervous because i want to order and import the cousteau diver in the near future.
