Does it lume BLUE??? That's really cool! How does that work?
I think the backlight is blue, when you press the button for backlight. Do not think this thing is blue all the time when you are in the dark

This is soooo ex-ci-ting! Holding my breath

Now that I've convinced my wife to get it for me for Christmas and the order is in process, I've decided to ask about it
Does it mimic the original in function accurately? Do you get any instructions with it? Are you happy with it?
All comments and thoughts welcome
Bought it from Silix.
As you know I also ordered 1 from Silix. I also hope it mimic the original in function. BTW manual for the real thing is here http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/omega/manuals/X-33/X-33.html

I guess when you don't worry...don't look worried....don't act worried... when it's just the most normal thing in the world... then most likely, nothing will happen.
Well they picked me out and I did not act or looked worried. Customs here are really waiting for flights out of Bangkok etc. I think they picked me out because I was one of the first that had his luggage from the luggage link and passed "nothing to declare" as one of the first, while they were waiting for people to control. Next time I'll wait till a lot of people are going through "nothing to declare" and i will join the mass.

2 weeks ago I came back from Bangkok and customs picked me out to control. I was happy that I was so smart to travel with just a Seiko Monster on my wrist and did not buy a lot of fake stuff in BKK. In my suitcase there was just a (very cheap) rep Monaco Heuer they found. They looked at it, asked if I bought it there and let me go over the border with the watch.
I was very happy that i did not bring 3 or 4 fake watches already on the outward flight and back.

I think the watch called the legend a.k.a Panerai 111 is a legend too.

I think U-boat is a kind of fashion watch. Don't think the brand U-boat wil still exist in let say 15 years.
U-boat watches were very popular last year here in Amsterdam. Now they're last years trend and nobody walks with it anymore. Like I said, a fashion watch.

It even has proper backlight and alarm, but I never really found out how to use the alarm. Advanced watch!
If I found out, I will let you know. BTW here is the manual for the gen. Do not know if the rep does the same

I just told my wife to order one for me for Christmas. You better not have bought the last one!!!!!!!
I just paid with Paypal for mine. Hope they have a lot of them, everybody needs a X-33 in their life. Or a least 1 quartz.
-
The only thing I question, is that the white border around the logo seems to be too thick.. The subidial@2 is a 1/10th seconds totalizer on the rep as well?
white border around logo is indeed a tad too thick, also the hour markers are a little bit too short. subdial @ 2 is indeed for 1/10th seconds. I believe the rep has the same quartz as gen, i also like the saphire glass in the rep.
BTW i just ordered the Omega X-33

The TAGHeuer Indy 500 quartz Chronograph is a very good replica. But the genuine is just about 500 USD on eBay.
I have the rep from Joshua. Very accurate with the swiss quartz in it.

It's the monster today

#clive..
Yes GMT is indeed on the horizon.... maybe in a couple of weeks.
This MB Timewalker project took the maker almost a year to complete..
They are looking great Joshua. It's on my want to buy list. On the pics the date look a little bit recessed. I hope it's just the angle of pics

Today it's my 111h

ooops mistake, sorry. passed it over to the start of the week wristcheck...
-
yeah....for me the new IWC crono form EL comes first
The Big Bang will be my first choice, can't wait
-
This one is a beauty. I normally would snap it up, but since the IWC Ingeniur chrono is now out, I'll probably go for that instead. It's a $6,000 watch. Timewalker is under three thousand. Silly reason for making a choice but.............
I was at the AD today. Tried the timewalker chrono, really a wow beauty but... maybe a little bit too dressy and blingy for me. I would also snap the rep up in time but indeed too many choices at the moment. I also love the Ingy, Big Bang, VC Overseas, Royal Oak Offshore and I also want to buy a PAM 187. Damn... too many choices

Asian 7750's can be tempermental...one of my PAM's stopped last week and I had to take it to a local watchsmith for service. If you happen to have someone local that will work on reps, you should be fine...if not, it may be worth considering having the dealer service the movement before shipping.
Just my $0.02.
JF
I have 2 watches with the asian 7750, both are running fine. I have not found a local watchsmith yet, but in case I think The Zigmeister can also service it. The only "real flaw" I see is that the date of this watch looks a little bit recessed to me

It's the viagra Jones for me today.

Received mail from Josh today about the new Mont Blanc chrono. Checked it with the pics on the Mont Blanc website. Looks very accurate to me. Always wanted this watch but was waiting for a almost perfect version. Want to pull the trigger right now but I've learned to wait a few weeks/months

Today, it's a non-rep:
Cool! Just came back from a month Laos and Thailand. This exact combination Black Monster/Nato strap was on my wrist for a whole month during my trip. The Monster is a killerwatch! Love it!
-
Today it's my Heuer Monaco I bought in Bangkok last week. I know it's a quartz and it's not accurate but for just 20 Euro I could not resist to take it with me:

Had the same "feeling" as Pug today:
