  1. Wow, condolences The Zigmeister and to their families. Sorry to hear about such a tragedy that hits close to home.
  2. Good luck! I have the same problem with my 111 and have yet to find a source for the screws. If you do find some, please post up from where and share the knowledge...
  3. OMG, I think the original Stealth is absolutely Beautiful!! I NEED ONE!!! Please say you'll eventually make a couple more to be sold to members.
  4. All about the aesthetics of the watch for me. The style, the look, it's characteristics. Part of what led me to eventually drop the load of money on my Gen. RS2. But after finding out about reps, never again. :-) Yes, the name sets a status for you, but really, what does status mean when all that matters is what you think. What you like, etc... I always like to tell people, anyone can be a $30K a year millionaire. I bought the gen RS2 cause it just exuded pure secksiness to me. It was my style, my look, my personality. (I'm not trying to say i'm all secksy or anything, but it's what I liked). I don't regret dropping the $6K+ on it, but it opened up the doors for me to appreciate these timepieces and open my eyes to the rep world. Their craftmanship, the quality, and the chance to own watches I only dreamt about owning at the same time. I've only purchased my first rep on Tuesday (LV Tambour) cause I needed a brown tone watch and I liked the look of it, but will definitely not try to flash it all out their or try to come off as a genuine to set some sort of status for myself.
  5. Thanks for the comments on the Tag and the welcome fellow addicts! I agree. I've looked at Tag's for a while, but when I saw this RS2, I decided I was going to buy the real deal. It was waaay too secksy to pass up. Yea, so I've only been on the site for say, less than 2 days and have already purchased my first rep, not to mentioned wasted another day at work using up bandwidth for all the "research" I'm doing. Picked up a LV Tambour Chrono from TrustyTime this afternoon and now I sit and wait... Most likely won't be able to hold myself back from buying another rep. Someone stop me!!! Also, seeing all the beautiful Tags on this thread, I thought we needed a Tag with some movement in it. So decided to take this video at work today. Shows off seconds and chrono movement on the RS2.
  6. OMG, wow. This site and all the referring site is driving me nuts!! It's been another day wasted at work looking at all the watches and prioritizing which rep I'm going to buy next. Picked up a LV Tambour from TrustyTime this afternoon, so I'll sit here patiently and wait. My guys here at worked pretty much stated that I'm an absolute junkie. It's like crack now... I need to more!!!
  7. Thanks for the welcome and replies fellas. Yea, I don't regret spending that chunk of change for the RS2 at all, even though all my buds said it was crazy. Hey, all that matters is the wife didn't say no, PLUS, she bought it for me! :-p Now I'm off to buy my first Rep. LV Tambour. :-D
  8. Won't really be changed out until I buy my Rep. LV Tambour Chronograph. Hasn't really come off my wrist since I bought it a few weeks ago. Even had to purchase some new wardrobe to go with the watch. Gen. Tag Heuer Grand Carrera RS2
  9. My first real timepiece and what helped lead me too my new expensive addiction! Gen Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 L.E. RS2
  10. Heya everyone, new guy here just introducing myself. Residing from TX, USA, where I am recently introduced to my new addiction. Expensive addiction to say the least. Luckily, I found this site today after scouring the internet, reading up and researching on watches and timepieces, since I made my first big timepiece purchase a few weeks ago. A Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 L.E. RS2. I was never big on watches or appreciated them for what they're worth, till now. The detail, the workmanship, the style, their unique characteristics. So, what brought me here was as I researched the web on watches, I noticed there were alot of replica shops online and started observing the differences in detail on a rep vs. a gen. Decided I wanted to buy more pieces, but didn't want to pay the hefty tag I did for my RS2, so began researching the replicas on what to look for and how to identify the different makers and characteristics. I spent all afternoon reading up on this site and can already say thank you for the wealth of knowledge that this site and its members hold. Will definitely be supporting the site and already ready to buy a rep LV Tambour Chronograph from TrustyTime. Hope to continue to learn more from the site and hopefully provide some info in the future after I move up from noob level. Just for the hell of it, here's a pic of my first timepiece that I took on top of the piano. If anyone needs me to take any other close up pics for genuine comparison, let me know and I'd be happy to do so.
