  1. Mate you are absolutely correct, those shots are some of the best I have seen on this forum!!!! Can you please share your setup and settings? I would love to get those sort of shots from my Canon (my camera is similar to yours). Please feel free to PM me if you don't want to post your technique
  2. I wish I had the same luck as you maxman My first 7750 was a Tag aquaracer (after reading by tor's reviw of course) which was purchased at the same time as my Tag Heuer Grand Carrera. Within 2 months, my Tag aquaracer stopped winding unexpectedly. I opened it up and it looked as though it had difficulty winding, even if I spun the rotor with my finger. Definitely a problem with this movement... Because of the customs issues of sending it back, this watch became an expensive paperweight. About the same time, my Tag Grand Carrera also stopped working/winding. The rotor fell off!!! I can't really blame it on the movement, but i stuck the rotor back on. Because I paid nearly $400USD for this watch, it remains in my drawer, and only used for special occasions. I pretty much gave up on the damn 7750 for the last 12 months and only purchased ETA 2xxx movements with ALL BEING FAULTLESS (I mean really, get a 7750 serviced as soon as you purchase it??- If i pay upwards of $300USD for a watch, I expect them to work as soon as it arrives.......) HOWEVER, because some of the watches that I am a fan of only come in Asian 7750, i just took the plunge and bought a Tag Link from Mary becasue i've always fancied this watch. If this watch fails, I will never be purchasing a 7750 ever again! :whistling:
  3. Hey Fizz, Do you have any sites on the internet that you can purchase discounted Honda Integra parts from? Also, what do you think of the NA sw20 Mr2? (Do you have any places that sell cheap spares/parts for this car as well?) If you own a Nissan Zed, the best source is: conceptzperformance, com
  4. Wow, I did'nt realise there were Z fans here! I currently sold my Uber rare 2000spec 300zx Slicktop NA a few months ago. I was thinking of replacing the zed with an E46 M3, but it would'nt be too sensible to spend most of my savings on another car I'm currently looking at the DC2 type r but it's impossible to find one that the boy racers haven't got to!! 5. Thanks so much for your help guys! I've been thinking of buying both versions as a birthday present to myself, they both look great. Do you think I will have reliabilty issues with either of the watches? I am also led to believe that the crowns will probably end up stripping in a few months of normal wear (as per the UPO's)? t200
  6. So the one that josh (perfect clones) is the more accurate one to buy?
  7. Yeah, the one that was for sale is a more attractive metallic colour, and the pearl does not stick out as much (IMO all pearls should look like this). The asian7750.com looks similar to the one Perfect Clones have. I really want this watch!!!
  8. Hi guys, I've never ventured into Rolex watches before, however, upon snooping around the for sale section, I found this watch: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/107173-blue-submariner-gen-rolex-box/ Unfortunately the watch was sold! The only information on this watch is that it is a Submariner I have had a look at Josh's site and the only wacth similar to this does not have the "rolex" engraving around the inside edge, and the pearl does not look as flush as the one in the link above. Can someone please tell me where I can find this watch to buy new? Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers, t200
  9. I just sent my watch to the Zigmeister himself to cut the crown down and get a lume job done. I am sure that this would be the most worthwhile thing if you want to keep your watch long term as I do. Cheers, t200
  10. I just received my blue aquaracer rep from Josh, but I experienced a few problems with it. When the crown was pulled out to change the date, nothing could be adjusted. This is the first day/date 7750 I have bought, but im sorry to say that i will probably steer clear from 7750 from now on. Why? Well when changing the time on the aquaracer, the crown seemed really loose, and the time did not adjust smoothly. Also, i don't know if its normal, but the day changes approximately 2 hours after the date changes? Also, the chrono buttons were absolutely terrible. In regards to the watch, (maybe it was just my watch that I received) the clasp seemed very poorly made (ie, not closing properly) and the rear engraved case was not too smooth. My next purchase will be a Pumpkin UPO, but one god thing I have to say about the aquaracer is that the crown seems like it will not strip unlike the UPO. I absolutely hate it when a crown will not screw in!!!! Anyway, Ive sent the watch back to Josh to fix today, so i will keep you posted on the progress.
  11. I just picked one of these up today, absolutely gorgeous!! Just a quick question, is the crown on this watch as bad as the UPO? ie. will the threads strip after continually adjusting the time? I ask this because this watch is toooooooo big to fit in my watch winder lol Cheers, t200
