  1. At First I thought no way could they get this right,  Panerai are on to us and making it harder and hard to replicate

I was thinking Panerai are making it harder and harder to look at their monstrous creations...  Reminds me of the early APROO Divers that had the horrible wood layered effect... YUK!

  2. Wisest thing you've said to date. Please, let it go already. Guys who purchased from Toro will continue to do so and guys that have not may one day still do so.

Yours is a $100+ problem. Let's not blow it out of proportion.

    Enough whining already buddy.

Sorry to bring this up out of the blue, but the last three I bought had QC problems.

@Toro Bravo... Fire your QC guy and get a new one... he's costing all of us TIME & MONEY (and face, cuz I bought some for my friends)!!

Jesus, just check the watches properly according to the basic decent quality standards, it ain't rocket science:

is everything lining up (look at it)

is it keeping pretty good time (check it on your meter)

is the finish good (dial & casings)  (look at it)

is it aesthetically good all around?  (look at it)

is there [censored] in the movement  (look at it)

C'mon... if we're a forum member at least you should be checking this stuff METICULOUSLY... it'll save you and me more than just time and money.

Recently, you've been breaking my heart! :-(

  3. I've had several QC issues since I started buying from him last year. He's always made them right, but it's taken a long time. Sorry, but this just shouldn't happen with the cost of reps.

I won't be buying from him for now, it's just not worth my time or stress.

Here's the last three purchases, all with problems:

    • BP Fifty Fathoms: Great watch, cap screws missing. Took over 2 months to get new ones
    • PAM 026: Brown instead of pencil grey DLC
    • PAM 364: Bad bezel alignment, crown assembly fell apart after a week

I think I'll start with Angus for Noob stuff anyway, Josh/Andrew for everything else.
