  1. That came out awesome!! DLC beauty!!!
  2. Damn! She's about as good as they get IMO
  3. Damn! That's just pure sex on wheels!!! :thumbsupsmileyanim: I drive a Peugot 307CC Sport, but don't have a pic:
  4. Yes, it seems some photos show it as PVD, others seem plain steel... Here's some gen shots: Right now, the dial plate and waterproof issues are at the top of the list. I just can't seem to think about taking it off my wrist for the time it will take to fix!
  5. Nice!! I'm really liking that Graham is toning down all the crap hanging off of them. I think the hand grenade look is well past it's due date.
  6. Thanks for the compliments guys... it still needs some work, but it's ok for the time being... The CG lever is too tight and the dial sub-plate is too thick, so it doesn't wind properly yet Need to fix these issues for it to be complete. Anybody have a spare dial plate with seconds at 9 by any chance?
  7. you can get an asian 7750 for cheap... I told you not to change the date between 9pm and 3am... ever
  8. Sorry to hear about the dramas you've had so early in the game... Yes, it can be frustrating at times, but my experience is that it's much more rewarding!! FYI, A friend of mine just bought a $25,000 AP Rubberclad... He got it home and it wasn't working properly (major issue). He brought it back to the AD and they told him they'll have to send it away... could take 3 months to get it back! They finally agreed to a full refund after he had to raise his voice and cause some commotion :whistling:
  9. Finally got my 203A back from my watchsmith Case: Unknown CG: Unknown Crown: Unknown Dial: FGD Crystal: DSN Movement: ETA/DSN Hands: Tritium Back: Jacob DLC: opcrown There's still more work to be done, but I just wanted to have some time on my wrist before I send it back for some tweaks: The plate between the movement and the dial is too thick by about .2mm Needs a new case tube Needs a new crown Will replace the hands with FGD hands just received Need to polish or replace CG pin, and I think PVD coat it Other than above, I'm very happy with it! It's so beautiful on my wrist, can't stop looking at it 7 Years in this hobby and still loving Panerai!!! Enjoy!
  10. Welcome from Melbourne
  11. Wow! Thanks for that info Logan... Yes, it seems there are too many variables to make these in production. I have a tube I will try from the supplier of this case, but I'm not sure if it will be the right measurements. I'm also worried about the case tube hole in the case. When I got the case, the tube was all marred and crappy at the crown face... now after taking the tube out... the bore is also quite marred and crappy On top of that, the face So... in the end, I don't know if I'm going to need a whole new case and crown for this to work
  12. Yeah... I got that email from Nick in Sydney too... Pretty funny read, but that guy (Nick) really gets on my nerves... His latest scheme is selling really friggin expensive books... I think the guy's losing it to tell the truth... his prices are incredibly expensive... but that's another issue On the Melbourne website, I can't see it lasting long, I hope it doesn't hurt our hobby and put unwanted attention on reps. The watches on it are utter canal street crap and way overpriced. I'd stick to our trusted dealers here
  13. Beautiful!! Yes, Simon's parts are the best!!!
  14. Can some of you guys give me some input on dimensions to make Luminor manual winding case tubes? I have this beautiful 203A case all waiting to go together, but I need a new tube, as the one on it is trashed I need to confirm for the CNC machinist and to make a drawing for him. If needed here, I will make a bunch of them and sell them here if you guys think it's a necessary item.
  15. I will take 2 or 4... Let us know when they're in!!
  16. I'd say go for it... but then again, I can be a real d1ck sometimes The seller has only 2 feedbacks from buys not sells, so I'd be treading carefully on this one... could be the lead-in to a scam.
  17. I have my 203A project in with my watchmaker now... His dilemma is that the dial has no feet, he says it is really fiddly but 'should' be able to do it... Does anyone have advice on the best way to line up as well as fix the dial to the dial plate? Should it be glued or taped? Thanks!!
  18. I bought my crystals and movements from Davidsen.
  19. Beautiful pair for sure!! Is that a 42mm PO??
