Just got my panda I LOVE it. However I ordered the bracelet and I don`t like it. Anyone know if it is possible to get a custom leather strap made for this bad boy?? I bought a Panerai leather strap witch I will attempt to modify. But I have my doubts whereas I am able to get it right... Just notching it out at the top and taper the sides a bit. Cut a tube in two and use as inserts for the narrow end. Send me a PM or an answer to this post regarding custom strap job THX

The build quality is actually good No loose things and the watch feels substantial. The watchband is also surprisingly good *For this price range of rep* The deployment clasp on the band is one of the things that surprised me the most. I will take some more pictures today and post them in this thread Stay tuned! And this one transforms into a Le Mans Porsche 956 *I wish*

Well..... Got the Tag today. And it is a mighty weird watch I must say. Offcourse it is tooooootaly wrong made in almost every aspect. But now I know *Just cost $100 to find out * Quick and dirty wristies !!!!!!!!! BTW : My wrist is 7" exactly. For perspective purposes. Would not recommend this monstrosity to anyone. I wont be able to sell it on probably. So ill keep it as a curiosity

Hehe. I think he got so intrigued that I might be able to sell him some for his own personal use He also said "Can you really just order them of the internet?"

It all started about two weeks ago when I was on the lookout for a watchsmith to service my 1911 replica. I called around and said that I had some replicas that needed some love and attention. The only place I got a hit was at a small shop in Nærbø Norway. The watchsmith was very nice and we talked watches for a while. I said I had some high end replicas and if he could service them for me. He said "No problem" About a week ago I sent the watch with my friend for him to deliver it. (I live far from the place, and my friend was going there anyways so...) Yesterday I got a call from the watchsmith who said that he could not service genuine Ebel watches and that he had to send it to the AD for service. I said NO NONONONO.... Its a replica. He did not believe me, and I said "Do not look on the outside of the watch but on the inside" and you will find a A7750 and not a swiss movment. Then everything was ok!! So we got some good quality replicas it seems like He also said that he could usually spot reps *LOL* EDIT: Hope he is better at servicing than spotting reps though, or else I am in deep dodo!!

OK! Here is the deal... Just talked to the dealer. The lug width on the no recess date 5004 pvd with glued on PR IS 22mm. The working PR is a 24mm case (Should be) Looks like the factories are mixing and matching cases So my original assessment about the 22mm was right *Phew* To bad i ordered some more straps in 24mm, but I have Panerais for those *hehe*

Trying like a mofo to find the posts about this! Haaaaaaalp.....

HOLY!!!! Looks like the dude from Aphex Twin on the right.... You just gave me nightmares spooky

However there is some slack when you set the time. Is that normal on A7750? And will it subside after service?
-
Just got the watch from the postman! STUNNING! I think the AR is more than good enough However THIS watch deserves a full service and some love, Not gonna leave my wrist for a looong time...
-
Then a normal service it is Thanks all you guys!! Its great to have so much info and people to give it! Prevents me from doing stupid things.
-
Hell! That did not even cross my mind! Surely a very good option. I will just have to see if it keeps good time. If not a service will be unavoidable I think And then run it into the ground and get a Swiss... Exxelent JohnDorian. EDIT: Looks like my brain is misfiring today

Just bought a brand new Ebel 1911 Discovery panda. This will be a permanent addition to my collection. A complete service at the watch smith are about $155 witch is a good option. However. On the other hand I can get my hands on a genuine Swiss valjoux movement made in April this year, ready to put in and everything will be pure gravy! BUT! that is a $375 option, witch is a bit pricey for me. Will the Asian 7750 live and be accurate just as long as its Swiss counterpart? Is Swiss a viable option or is it just for "I have a Swiss valjoux!" factor?? I will receive the watch tomorrow, and since it will be permanent I want it as perfect as it can be!

BTW. I was about 97% sure that it was a Wrongling myself, so you have confirmed my suspicions He is also a local politician! Nuff said..
