MarinaMM20 is due to the love i have for the hommage watch RXW Marina Militare MM20

So here we go - let me start saying i have newer done this before but with some patience, coffey and smokes - i did it - well sort off the only issue - i broke the stem - but davidsen will ship me a new tomorrow - but here is a small pictureserie of putting it together get the minutwheel and install it mounted the dial - fits like a glowe now to the hands - i was fearing this with my shaking hands (the ones attach to my arms) But it turn out to be quit easy, with wrapingtape and a ballpen without the insert it was easy to press the hands into place another handshot Dial and case cleaned for dust, movement installed in the case - then hell broke loose - or was it the stem ****sign**** but davidsen is the knight in armor and is sending a new for me.... but i needed to see the final result..so here goes - it is stunning - i am in love again.....love that yellow/orange color on the numbers it is just wauuuuuuu The AR coating is awsome........ i will bring a update when i get the stem and the MF strap for it......

a mear 270$ - and 93 Euros for the strap... so it is quit cheap

hehe my thougths exactly, it is such a treat to get such supber quality fo so small a price.

well it would be easier, but i am not that kind of guy i just thought that it would be fun to assemble it my self, always liked to take apart things and put it together again, nice to know how things are assembled the dial is SO beautifull IRL, i must say that i am stunned by the quality of the parts that Davidsen provides... and the PVD case is breathtaking, cant wait to get it together.....

i will grind of the buckle, as i have a PVD buckle to match the PVD case.. how does the strap look i person????

hehe yep, you have to start them early, so they can get some healthy interrest - LOL thanks for the kudos on the pictures - once you get started it is really fun to take pictures of the watches

hehe - let me correct it - sorry for the confusion - must be tired the sapphier is much more domed than the mineral, giving the more distortion on the sapphier the crystal shapes is different, the sapphier is much more domed than the mineral version.. this is the mineral this is the sapphier but again, as i stated in the previus post, that the crystal i have in now is sapphier, but with the mineral shape due to i got a stratch in the crystal, and was lucky to get hold of an aftermarket crystal in sapphier incl the AR coating...

@spock your are correct - i ment that there is alot more distortion on the sapphier - just my crappy english sorry my best bet would be that it is a mineral version, asuming that it is the original crystal that is in the watch. because i bougth a aftermarket sapphier glass with AR coating with the same shape as the mineral version you can see it by the missing distortion of the number when seen at a little offaxis but it is funny, because, if i remember correct, the supplied "swiss" tag was only together with the sapphier version, or was it the export version.,.... hmmmm getting old

correct there is different runs of the MM20 and many of them have problems with loose CG lever - mine included there is a version with full polished case, cant remember the glass, think it is mineral then there is a version with mineral glass and brushed case and a version with sapphier glass, AR coating and brushed case it is really easy to see if it is with mineral or sapphier glass.. the mineral glass is more flat than the sapphier so there is more distortion looking through the sapphier plus the sapphier have AR coating.
