  3. if it is a 42mm PO the 4th generation.. if a UPO 45mm no prob.
  4. aluminum mag polish is good also.. it removes the oxidation form the ss .. brightens the metal and polishes..you can do this by hand with a soft undershirt..or any "cotton" rag. cape cod cloth..also very good on polished as well as brushed surfaces.. A dremel for the deeper scratches.. you can use metal polish or jewelers rouge .. and polish by hand with metal polish and a soft rag to remove the swirls from the dremel... the dreml can leave ridges if your to aggressive with one spot.. be careful to go in an even motion around the scratches. A dremel will also remove gouges from acrylic crystals.. just be careful of the edge of the wheel so you don't buen the acrylic. AC/Lani

  8. The date window is an improvement.. but the dial font is way too thick.. the "R" on the rolex is sloopy.. the improvements go by the wayside for me due to the sloppy and fluffy font.. correct 2 things and error on the big one (for me) the font..
  9. 242.00 usd gen dial fix
  10. Titanium Carbon Nitrate .. true ,..my point being that we will have to await the rep and view the genuine before judgment can be passed ..if it is an altogether a flop.. then that's all part of the hobby As in the past jumping to conclusions is a pure waste of time and energy .. others can review theirs on other fora's or this one..mine will be an objective view and not one of hype to sell the rep for any dealer. We all have our dealers of choice .. for whatever reason.. I for one don't look for bargain prices .. long got over that issue.. it's service and parts supply that is big in my choice. Not meaning to go way off topic here.. but the lowest price doesn't always end up being the best deal.. if I were dealing with genuine watches sure.. but too many times when I first started collecting reps.. my watch would die after a week or so and that was that.. no recourse.. and in the long run I ended up loosing more money in the end.. than paying a little more in the beginning.. needless to say the parts that may be needed much later.. just my .02

  12. The genuine SA BS is supposedly a very different colour from the Skyland BS, I'm told.. I'll take a trip to the AD before I attempt the reivew ..It could be the reason they did not rep it the same colour type as the Skyland. We'll see.
  13. ALL..my reps are ordered from China.. no worries..
  14. Deuce
  15. A few more shots
  16. 188 usd for a eta .. not bad.. Here
  17. Perfect clones on this one high...no not anywhere near a 5513.. new release a little while ago..the case set is well done though.. I think the brush pen may just do the trick on the glossy lume issue.. I wasn't too impressed at first but getting rid of the glossy lume would greatly improve the over all look .. the acrylic crystal is well done..the hands are crisp.. not a bad rep..
  18. I really don't know why some say to stay away from brushed area's .. I use the cape cod cloth on my gen Rolex Explorers .. and all they do is make then brighter.. although I will say this forum has more experienced knowledge than most genuine fora'.. I'm not talking about my knowledge, but about the horological knowledge of movements, correct gen parts.. I guess this hobby breads more research in those area's than most that just buy a watch and strap it on..
  19. Pale
  20. I don't know if this is the same one that is used for refinishing (??) for this you need to check with Offshore.. the one I use is for refinishing brushed finishes.. this states it is used as a cleaning tool.. so best to check with OS he does carry the cape cod though..
  21. They work well on any brushed surface.. Watch Bitz has them for no doubt a better price.. both the cape cod and the brush pen.. AC/L
  22. Yup got a WM9 SD and GMT Two Tone black/gold on order from BK too
  23. Never a stupid question denz use it like any polishing.. it is not abrasive so it will not leave swirls .. however you can use it to fit the area your polishing will be fine.. I use a toothbrush .. because the polish will end up in between the links and in cracks.. left alone it will dry white.. so I use the tooth brush to clean the cracks in between the links and around the bezel..etc.the toothbrush will not scratch the ss the blacker the cape cod cloth, gets the more oxidation you are removing from the ss..
  24. I used the cape cod on the UPO bracelet .. YES.. but there was no need to refinish.. the finish is fine.. I have used it on this bracelet to get rid of those "desk scratches".. and miscellaneous scratches around the bracelet.. and you are 100 it keeps the bracelet looking like new all the time.. No copyright Denz.. use my pics on this board if you want..
  25. Thanks Marrick.. I just ordered another finer fiberglass brush pen.. I think by brushing the markers.. it'll get rid of the glossy look and give it a nice patina fluff.. @dnz.. that is what makes this hobby so much fun.. imagination is key sometimes..looks like you got another watch on your list buddy AC/Lani
