  1. Are the hand sizes on the Asian Valgrange the same as the Asian 7750, specifically the sub-dial hands? I guess that was my question.
  2. The question I have about these new Asian Valgranges movements is what are the hand sizes? Are they the same size as the ETA version, or do we have the same swiss/asian 7750 mismatch issue again? I have a Chopard with one of these movements and I really like the watch, if the hand sizes are the same, I would seriously consider dropping in an ETA version.
  3. Hey mastrmind, looks like great minds think alike, look what I'm wearing! I just got mine yesterday! - Chris
  4. Nice choice! I have that exact same watch as a gen, you will love it! - Chris
  5. I just received my new PO Chrono (Pumpkin) from Josh today and I easily popped the bracelet off and back on again without issues. However, I did notice that the tips of the springbars on this one were slightly bent also, I think that is the secret. Removing the link pins is a whole other story, talk about stubborn! - Chris
  6. Yeah, I don't understand what the issue is either, and I've searched the forum to find out more but couldn't really find anything. I just received a PO Chrono this past week from another member and removed the bracelet, removed some links, and put everything back together without any issues. I did notice that the tips of the spring bars were bent slightly. I am expecting another PO Chrono (orange bezel) from Josh this week, I'll see if there is anything different with that one when I re-size the bracelet - Chris
  7. I might splurge on the dial to give it a shot, if it works, then I'd have to get the gen hands so that the lume matches. I do plan on getting the AR done, I have to wait until I get my crystal press though. I actually have several crystals I want to get done (hence getting my own crystal press), do you know when Chief's next run is and how do I go about getting in the queue? Thanks, - Chris
  8. The reason I asked was because I really like the watch and I can live with the sunken date wheel. I was thinking of getting it relumed, so should I spend $120 for a relume, or another $100 for a gen dial? - Chris
  9. With a lot of guys modding their UPO"s with genuine dials, I was wondering if anyone knows if the Planet Ocean chrono genuine dial will fit the newer PO chrono with the correct subdials? I guess the biggest concern would be if the date window lined up. - Chris
  10. I'm hopefully expecting a Navitimer World in my collection. I know about the date wheel issue and was wondering if I could use the date wheel from my old rep Skyland to make the Navitimer more gen-like? Has anyone tried this, would it even work? The movements are both A7750? - Chris
  11. Tell me more about this, I'm interested. Does the crystal have AR? What size straps does this take (lug width)? How tight is the bezel?

  12. Here's my first PAM, it's a 196 Daylight and I put it on a gorgeous baby hornback crocodile strap! What do you guys think? I'm officially addicted to these things now, I have a 250 on it's way now. Thanks for looking!
  13. Here's a question for all you Skyland owners out there. How do you fit your thick straps? The distance from the spring bar to the case isn't very much and it's all I can do to get any of my thick (5mm+) straps to mount. Even when I do manage to get one mounted, the spring bar pops very easily with any rotation of the strap.
  14. I've been lurking on here for a few months and purchased a few reps, one of which was a PAM 196 Daylight. I have instantly fallen in love with this thing, it's my first PAM and most likely won't be my last. Anyway, I managed to pick up a very nice old case version and would really like to make this thing a reliable workhorse. I have an old beat up Hamilton Khaki Field Chrono with an ETA 7750 movement in it, with a day and date wheel. Can I put that movement into the PAM 196? If so, what is the deal with the hands, I know there is a difference between the Asian and Swiss hand sizes, where can I get the proper hands? Any help would be appreciated! By the way, this forum is great, such a wealth of knowledge! - Chris
