  1. Thanks - but I was hoping someone in UK (to save double customs problems.)

  4. I am in the UK. Can anyone suggest where I can get my Portuguese fixed with graphite? Many thanks
  5. I'm in the UK and have a Portuguese that keeps stopping. It has been repaired before but still keeps stopping. I know there is a "fix" for this seconds @ 6 movement requiring graphite. Is there anyone who can do this for me (in UK or EU)? I have done a search and also asked freddy333 - he advised me to put a message on here. Many thanks

  7. Gosh - were you really married in April, 1919? Congrats!
  8. Pardon my ignorance here, but where would I find a "RG/Ceramic YCM HBB"? (Don't suppose you have a link) Thanks very muchly!
  9. On the genuine it is not a HEV. There is a cog mechanism inside this which rotates the inner bezel when the outer bezel is turned (It shows it in the book I acquired from an AD Officially: "...the variable tachometer is controlled by rotating the outer bezel, which drives a pinion and an arbor activating the inner bezel..."
  10. WOW - $1,340! Definitely outta my league Cheers Rolexman - I'll give ebay a try.
  11. The AD I went in to had to phone Breitling UK to get the price for me - £420! I might try them direct myself now - see if they quote me cheaper. Cheers.
  12. Went to an AD last week to get price for gen strap and deployant - £420. Too rich for me.
  13. I'm after a nice quality deployant clasp for a new strap I'm getting for my Breitling for Bently GT. Any advice would be gratefully received. CHEERS!
  14. It really looks the business - excellent quality. I don't think it's gonna get much wrist time ("suit-type" watch) and no room in the box so it's gonna have to go I'm afraid
  15. I'm wearing the PO at present, Bentley GT yesterday, Tag day before (most recently received watches). They ALL get a fair share - wouldn't want any arguing in the box now, would I?
  16. Thanks. (They may all be from the same manufacturer tho' )
  17. Here's my latest collection. I don't have room for 3 of them so they don't get much wrist time. Guess I'll have to let them go Omeg* Planet Ocean 42.5mm (4th gen) - Eta T*g Heuer Link Chrono - New Asia 7750 (28,800 bph) Omeg* Double Eagle (SS/rose gold) - Eta Breitl*ng for Bentley 44.7mm - New Asia 7750 (28,800 bph) Paner*i Tantalium (Pam 192) - Venus copy Lemania Omeg* Broad Arrow - Venus copy Lemania R*lex LV - Eta R*lex YM - Eta Omeg* SM Pro - Eta V*cheron C*nstantine Overseas - Eta R*lex Datejust (solid gold mid links, bezel and crown - according to Paul ) R*do Sintra (real ceramic) - Swiss quartz Eb*l 1911 chrono - Quartz
