  1. Alright so here is the story. I bought this watch 13 months to the date as I post this. Back in June someone was examining my SMP and managed to lose the helium release valve cover. I was sort of [censored] but I let it go. Then in Aug I took a trip to Florida, and had the SMP in a watch case in a carry on bag. It was ticking when I packed it, but not when we got off the plane. Winding it did absolutely nothing, however shaking it for a while would make it tick for maybe 15 ~ 20 seconds. Obviously I have given it some time to settle and rewind it but still nothing. So at this point I am just ready to bring it in and get it cleaned. There is a local watch smith that I totally trust, and I was going to bring it to him, but first I need to find a place where I can buy a replacement valve cover, so who has a link. Cheers Cameron

  3. I like my Dolce & Gabbana Sandpiper better. Cheers Cameron
  4. Poor sucker.....arrogent [censored]. Its one thing to defend a good fake with minute flaws that only the expiranced rep collector would notice, but something like that where even a beginner could spot at least 5 major flaws, there is a big problem. I feel sorry for the poor n00b. Cheers Cameron
  5. Lol, so after reporting him, I send him a message letting him know of all the flaws, and the fact that I reported it. His response "I'm sorry about this watch was a gift, and I've had it checked. It's not a fake watch." So I write him back with a link to a jpeg showing his watch with a pic of gen next to is, so that he can see how bad his watch really is. We are wateing on that e-mail now. Cheers Cameron
  6. lol I know. There so many vintage watches on the bay, that have modern boxes. And so many "2006 NIB" watches that have boxes from the 90's. Its a scammers market. Cheers Cameron
  7. Lol, so true. Maybe we should start looking for this as code as "This is a fake watch that I'm trying to pawn off on you for a 400% commission" Cheers Cameron
  8. notice the datejust booklet in the background of one of the pictures? Please for the love of god someone report this. Cheers Cameron
  9. Does he have a store? If yes, then get the account suspended. Most people who are just stand alone sellers w/o stores will usually listen and pull the auction, where as people with stores don't think you will actually do anything. Cheers Cameron
  10. I think I just came a bit in my pants. How much for it? Cheers Cameron
  11. Atleast you didn't buy this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...s_promot_widget Cheers Cameron
  12. Lol, the movement says it all. Gens are all Nickel plated. Nothing is the stock brass. Cheers Cameron
  13. Bezel is mis-aligned, but the helium release valve is correct. My vote is gen. Cheers Cameron
  14. The most expensive on the bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-Mens-Diamond-Pave...1QQcmdZViewItem The ref is wrong. This 6200 has a modern Bezel on it http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-Oyster-SUBMARINE...ViewItem#BigPic CGs, Crown, and the datewheel http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-GMT-MASTER-ll-18...1QQcmdZViewItem I just stopped counting the flaws http://cgi.ebay.com/Gts-Rolex-SS-Seadwelle...1QQcmdZViewItem Maybe, you be the judge http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-SEA-DWELLER-2000...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Anniversary-18KSS-...1QQcmdZViewItem Its not even a real ref. The ref on the back is 16822. Most likely they took a rep 16622 and dropped in a new face. God there are too many. Cheers Cameron
  15. This isn't the $308 version, only the $188. I'm going to have the mods done by an AD in the area that turns a blind eye to reps. Here we go. With my SMP On the wrist (looks excellent with whites and greens) For what I paid I was VERY impressed. Now can it fool an AD? Almost. The girl at the counter of Alpha Omega went back and fourth on it for a long time before she popped the back for the final tell. I still wish the red lettering was a bit bolder like the gen, but other than that very acurate rep. I can't stop wearing it. Cheers Cameron

    Straps?

Anyone know where to get Leather straps for Rollies? I want to get a black strap for my LV sub, but can't seem to find the Rollie strap with the deployment clasp. Any help is greatly appricated. Cheers Cameron
  17. Right off hand I noticed the M's being off, the date font being off, and shouldn't the "Swiss Made" span 5 ticks and not three? Cheers Cameron
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/Omega-Ocean-Planet-Wat...1QQcmdZViewItem Just gawk. Cheers Cameron
  19. Odd, I've now bought three watches from Josh, and not a single one has been confiscated, or stopped by customs. And even though I know quite a bit about how to disasemble a watch, about 6 weeks ago when I was a complete n00b I would have been scared shiteless to put together my own watch. Cheers Cameron
