I think that last picture really shows the cream-esque color I was talking about earlier. It's very subtle but still noticeable. Great watch though! This thing is practically bullet proof too. It's now my daily beater, until my A7750 Carrera comes in!

After wearing the piece for a week or two I am 100% satisfied. I actually LIKE how its sort of cream in color in certain lights now In the office it wears cream, but outside it wears white, so it's pretty cool. This thing is bullet proof too. Haven't dropped it yet but I did get it wet and it is holding steady. The handwound movemen is quite awesome to wind too - feels very very solid. Definitely a steal for $108.

Since I wear my watches on my left hand, the pushers and crown are facing outwards on my wrist...so hypothetically if I had the tap going and a stream of water went over the right side of the watch (over the pushers/crown) would any water leak in? Am I just being too paranoid, or should I be taking my watch off to watch my hands?

So I may not be able to throw this in the pool, but if I was to just say get water on the face (on the crystal) while it's pouring out of the tap would I be totally screwed?

Here are some pictures. I am still not convinced that my watch is supposed to appear yellow in almost every light, unless it's in bright daylight and so is so reflective that I can barely see the time. I guess we'll have to see once you get yours Member X. If yours isn't like this I am going to return mine with Josh! Sorry for the crap pictures but it's all I can manage on my point and shoot Canon.

Yeah I am not too worried about the closeness to the Gen, but moreso just the look of the dial! I was hopnig to have this one look solid white but it doesn't look like it will be happening unless I pay to get another AR done. That would probably cost as much as the watch itself! I will post pics when I get back from work tonight

Ok so after speaking with Josh he told me that the yellow-ish tint is actually coming from the AR on the crystal and that all of these pieces have this. Can anyone confirm? When looking at the watch, face on, the face looks slightly cream in color and not pure white. Anyone?

Strap actually looks decent! It is a bit tough though, but after a few weeks of wearing it in I think they will be fine. I e-mailed Josh about the cream dial problem (and noticed that the AR isn't really that good at all). Will let everyone know what he says when I hear back.

Maybe this hobby isn't for me..breakdown of my purchases: 1) Bought 2 watches from a scam site, 99 brands, returned them and got a full refund though 2) Bought a Tag Carrera 28,800bph from Mark at TimeShops and received the 21,600bph version - he is exchanging it for me so we should be all good 3) Bought this from Josh at Perfect Clones and received a cream face instead of a white face. Since they don't even make a cream coloured version this screams rep..I don't mind that but I just don't like the look. I hope Josh can work something out with me so that I don't have to wait another month in turnaround.

Wow - just checked TimeShops and the watch that I ordered is no longer there or in stock, and it was replaced with the version I posted in the original post. I am kind of [censored] about this because the subdial rings are completely off, the marker at 9 is too big in comparison to the Gen, the word "automatic" is too close to the subdial on the rep than in comparison to the Gen. This is not the watch I ordered (ordered before the website was changed, and ordered this one: http://www.timeshops.net/Tag_Heuer_Carrera...0_Black_581.htm - however the picture has been removed). What can I do about this? I kind of feel ripped off from Mark because he totally switched versions on me without letting me know and even changed his website to cover it up. Edit: After thinking about it even more, I am now very upset about this. I thought Mark was supposed to be one of the trusted dealers, so why would he pull this kind of crap? He took the product down from his website, and sent me the wrong watch (which after comparisons to the Gen looks nothing like the gen and most important of all nothing like what I ordered). If he is not amicable about this should I reverse the charge on my credit card and send the watch back?

Hey everyone, Just received my first rep from Mark at TimeShops.net - the bloody thing took 20 minutes to get into (amazing packaging) - and it looks great and seems to be keeping good time in the past 2 days (though it died on me tonight but I only swirled it for a couple of minutes and set it down for 12+ hours so that's probably my fault!) however I did notice a couple of differences, with the lume being a really big concern for me. I was delighted to find that the screws in the back are silver and not blue like the one I ordered - I was a bit worried about this since it screams rep. Differences noticed from gen: 1) Marker at 9 position is a bit longer than the gen (it should be the same as the marker at 3) 2) 'Swiss Made' at the bottom is a little bit out of center in comparison to gen (this isn't a huge issue because you will never look at that anyways) 3) Subdials are a bit thicker than the gen, however without having a gen side to side you wouldn't be able to tell a difference Overall a great rep, however I tested it for lume and didn't see any! Does the gen have lume? I didn't have it in the sun, but rather just in the daylight in my house, so I am not 100% sure this doesn't have lume but I thought it would still give off a little glow! From the pic there seems to be lume on the minutes/hour hands, and also around each marker (5,10,15,20 minute etc). Any info is appreciated!
