My 5th gen PO was waterproof out of the box. Been down to 12ft in the pool without issue.

I tried looking in the forums but I'm running out and I wasn't able to find it yet I have a stripped crown (won't screw down) contacted one of our repair guys and he said I will have to source a crown and crown tube. I was wondering if someone could point this out on ofrei that knows. I guess I'd need the gen crown and crown tube and do I need anything else? Is the part with the threads going to come on the crown? I know this might need a little work to get these gen parts on my ETA 2824-2. Thank you SO much in advance you guys are awesome.

Parts you require for the 45mm PO are...

Crown: 069 ST 42184

Tube: 090 ST 1232

Both the crown and tube are threaded.

Am i right in saying parts are only interchangable if you get the swiss movement version rather than the DG?

Im still on the fence trying to justify buying one!

All genuine parts should be compatible if you purchase the swiss/clone ETA version...gen dial and hands will not be compatible with the DG version.

Yes...and from what I can see, it doesn't need a gen tube as the rep one seems correct.

Sorry to hijack the thread but has anyone been disappointed with the AR on these in the flesh compared to the pics posted on the boards?

And there's also the pride in knowing that you put it together from bits. You know the workings inside and out...there is something to be said for that!

Narikaa's 20mm rubber straps for the PO are excellent quality and fit as genuine would.

Bought mine about three years ago and wear it quite often and it runs like a champ.
