42mm p/o from eurotimes. and ive just received a rubber strap from narikaa and fits a treat (really sets the watch off)
my question is does anyone know if this strap fits a gen p/o or does it require a gen strap too.
thanks.
Should fit the gen PO without issue.

Hi Jekyll...welcome aboard!
Yeah the Hublot reps are now of superb quality and very close to gen in looks and feel.
-
Domenico returned me the watch with most of the gen parts not installed.
He changed only the dial.
But, considering the insert is not aligned anymore, I think that he tried to put the gen bezel and then gave up.
I know, bad pic... Just an Iphone to use for now, sorry...
Lume shot with my gen 2220.80
As you can see, there is a color difference between the gen dial and the rep hands on this pic.
But curiously, I can't see a difference with my eyes and on this pic... ????
As he is on vacation, I cannot ask to him whether the gen parts didn't made it or if he did not have time to do it.
Now, I want to finish the work myself.
It remains me to install the gen bezel and the gen glass.
Does anyone knows if the gen glass and gen bezel fits on this "closed factory"?
Gen crystal fits the closed factory case perfectly.

Yeah...its damn close!

Good work Ubi!
How did you manage to source the parts so quickly?
-
Yes, sounds like a string of bad luck.
But it's important to remember that this hobby demands much more than collecting gens. The highs and lows are part of the draw of the whole game. Who hasn't felt the disappointment when a favorite watch stops working, or the elation of getting it back from China or the local watchsmith in fully-working condition again. Then there's the excitement of the chase - choosing your next watch, shopping for the best price, trying to grab a used one from the forums, getting beaten to the punch by a fellow forum member, waiting, waiting, waiting, choosing to buy a new one instead, then waiting some more for it to arrive before the magic moment of opening up that package....
No-one said this was easy, but as most people here would agree, that's part of what makes it fun.
