Buy a 7836 bracelet from mary and get yourself a gen 7836 Tudor clap from ebay.
Total cost $100
-
It' s realy a nice watch but the bezel looks weird , don't think it's a genuine one.
-
It's very easy, you don't have to drill just retap. Tapsize for a 24-703 is 3.0mm x .35mm.
-
Edit// No there is only one cheap Josh submariner with polex engraving, I bought different watches a long time, all polex engraved..............I see no diffenrence
-
Anyone know if the Yuki 9401 caseback will fit the josh case, and if so, is it any good?
No they won't fit, I used gen and rep tudor casebacks on the josh 5512. A tudor sub caseback won't fit on gen submariners eighter I think.
Is there a new improved cartel case with larger crownguards on the market? I want

When I look at the hour hand I see something wrong. The triangle on the tip (where the lume is) is to small.
Maybe it is just the picture but...there is a difference.

Now this is a gen right?
I guess so

Nick,
I'm pretty certain all Tudor Subs came with either a 9315 with 380 endlinks or in the US during the 70's you could get a C & I rivet bracelet instead of a 9315 if you wanted for a cheaper price. Prior to the 70's it would have come on a 7206 rivet. The difference between the 9315 and the 7836 is the clasp. One is for divers, the other is not.
Hehe Gavidoc, I won't give it up I know the difference between the 2 bracelets and I know the Submariner 7021 is sold with a 7836 non fliplock bracelet. When the 7021 was faded out the 9411 came and with lot's of transitional models they used the same parts. So in my opinion the 9411 is sold with a non flip lock 7836 bracelet.
Look at this original Tudor catalogue, a 7021 with a 7836 bracelet.
Pictures from an original catalogue Tudor 9401/0 with non flip lock bracelet.

And I found some more news about the 7836, i'm just looking for that erased picture.

Hey Guys,
The 7836 bracelet with rolex clasp and 380 endlinks (fitted on tudor subs) are also used on the early 7031/32 watches so it is most likely that both watches are equipped with the same bracelet.
I had a few 9411's with 7836 bracelets, one with crown and one with a shield clasp.

You all certainly know what your talking about.. But does anyone know where I can find one??
Read the post above one more time, I have

rcaf, what serial is your 7016? I have different gen dials for it.
I think lollipop seconds hands appeared on early versions of both the 7016/1 & 7928.
You are right gilt and silver ones. There is also a difference in size between the lollipop 7928, 7016 hand.
The lollipop second hand from the 7016 is a little bit shorter.

I bought one. Let's see what it looks like in real life and how it fits.
Ephry, let me know or show us how it fits. If it fits right and looks good I want to order a few

Did rolex ever do a comex without He-valv?
Like a 5513 case?
Sure, To my knowledge there was a 1680 and 16800 comex both without HEV.

Maybe you could try one of these, only $ 76,63 for a complete set ex. the insert.
It looks good

There is a difference between the 1500 and 1600 datejusts, the 1570 from a 1600 has a curved calender plate ( dont know the exact name at the moment) and will not fit a 1680 case.
You have to get a 1570 from a rolex 1500,1,3 it has a flat calender plate.
The 1570 from the 1600 wouldn't fit my yuki case.

Totaly fake

Nick,
Whose case are you using for the 7924? Looking good.
E
Hi E
I bought the case from a local second hand webshop a long time ago. It has the right caseback markings, so no bad USN engraving on this one.
The project is back in the drawer at the moment because I needed the movement for a 7928 PCG I'm working on

You can find a blue bezel for you sub at classicwatchparts.com.

Very nice build but I would look for some decent hands because those crap yuki hands are not justifying your watch.
7928 Tudor, a first franken build?

Everything is aftermarket, except for the caseback.
I think the caseback is original Tudor but not from a 7928!
