i dont know if they have changed but I originally paid $1200 for a 3 watch orbita, supposedly "THE BEST" i used it somewhat, then someone gave me a used 4 watch steinhausen. i know was only about, 2-300 yet it was quieter, had more features, ie: forward/reverse, and threw off much less heat, in fact if anyone wants a laminated blond wood, 3 watch orbita. let me know

I agree, wholeheartedly, most important ask the seller??? Go straight to the source, if what they say doesnt make sense to you then search for help from other members. i for one try to be completely honest about what i sold, rather them not buy , than to buy and be unhappy. Also some members had their History erased upon re-registration, and then had to re-register under another name because the software would not accept the old name again, i changed from SHTSLR to SHTSLR1. You can also ask for their ebay handle. If they are honest they wont mind you looking at their history there.

now you have me laughing, 1984 , my first noght out in New York with college buddies that lived their, so they knew all the right "wild" places to go. on my way to meet them was hit up by one of the famous Briefcase guys. Knowing nothing i acquired a piaget watch for $50 . and then embarked on a wild night, sometime before midnight i looked at the watch and low and behold the christal was gone, a few drings later i raised my arm to check the time and both hands swung down to the 6. it ended up retiring the night long before i did. Never even knew good reps existed until 98-99 when my gen guy showed me a datejust i was thinking of, i enquired if it came in a black face with diamonds as i had seen somewhere. he pulled it out and my untrained eye said yup i'll take it expecting to lay out 8-10k. he told me 600 and explained the world to me. i have never been the same since.

yes, tell you i would never get married again, very happy and all, but typical that when dating no problem spending MY money, when mariied, "you are not spending OUR money on that!!!" you give up too much control and then with kids they have enough now for 5 college educations, yet she adds every month

yes i agree, i dont the forms and insurance hassle on overseas losses so will restrict to CONUS, Fedex insures up to a $1000 without a declaration of what is inside--of course will make one exceotion for my friend in Scotland. I realize that better pictures are necessary so will wait till after my trip on the 26th to bring the good camera home. will have to draw the line on opening the case and showing movement, not prepared to play with that, so i think a 5 day from reciept money back guarantee less shipping should cover. but have a few friends here now and will shoot the pics have been using and forward to them first. Rollies, cartier, bvlgari, and patek, i get good value at trade in with my gen guy and he sources all gens from a cousin in UAE that has a fantastic discount so will start with NO-names gens . Invicta , f constant, grimaldi, and the like. thanks so much for the input
