i am not interesting for selling this movement in forum i have a ebay shop and enough clients... but i think it is a great idea to rebuild this movement in Jones... if you not like this movement or can get it for cheaper price from other seller or better movement.... it will fit... unitas 6498 is unitas 6498... unfinished or high finish... same movement. BTW, look some dealers like ETASWISS want 380$ for Jones... ONLY for watch... this project with better finish movement is cheaper best regards

look this movement: i have reduced price from 299$ to 199$ in my ebay shop. You can sell your old unitas movement from Jones in ebay for 80-100$ and this project cost 100$ example: purchase the jones for 219$ from Paul (abay-eshop), the high quality movement in my shop 199$ and sell your old movement in ebay for 80-100$... and the watch with modified movement cost nearly 319$ i think this is a good idea... look i have paid 325$ ONLY for watch with BAD unfinished movement, because i am from germany and don´t purchase from abay in view of cutsoms problems in germany. http://cgi.ebay.com/SWISS-eta-unitas-6498-...1QQcmdZViewItem

will genuine rolex 1570 datejust movement fit in replica case??? i have genuine 1570 movement with dial and hands... so need new case and bracelet. I will purchase a day-date with eta 2836-2 caliber and will rebuild my genuine movement in this case... but eta movement is 25,6mm and rolex caliber is 28,5mm...also is rolex caliber thicker than eta movement but iaseller from ebay tell me in replica case will fit also genuine rolex movement??? what do you think?

my Jones with modified movement is ready, i will post pics next week... sorry no digicam yet the new movement (special unitas 6498) fit perfect. But only one problem. The screws for holding the dial are different and so need new screws... the jones movement isn´t swiss produced unitas movement!!!! and also little different from my swiss produced movement. i sell this movement on ebay.... look my ebay name: iwc1868 or my ebay-shop: swiss-watch-tools-parts sorry i have limited stock from this special movement and can´t sell it in forum. But i have other nice Unitas 6498-1 movement with cotes de geneve style and blue screws... reduced price from 299$ to 199$ SALE, because i close my shop as from 01.06 for holiday the jones is 43mm and the lugs are 22mm... watch looks good and fit perfect on wrist, because very thin. The quality is good, but not heavy steel. The bezel on my watch is not proof ... looks realy like genuine, but the markers on dial are to big. The genuine watch have thinner numbers on dial. And wrong serial number. I have the platin version and this is limited stock of 500 pieces but on replica is same engraving 117/3000 like steel version.

today i received my Jones from new dealer in UK... aaaplusdirekt very nice watch but so bad unfinished movement... i will rebuild this movement and will post pics next week

i hope my Jones will arrive tomorrow i am waiting so long time i will rebuild the standard movement with high quality movements and post pics next week

i have bought my 5. watch with cn 6497 and it is ALSO demaged from 5 watches with cn unitas 6497 movement was 4 demaged??? they stopped after some hours... i hate this movements ... they are bad like asia 7750... maybe more WHY-WHY-WHY-WHY

the real one looks better but we can´t build this model. We haven´t exact same dial. Our dial is from older model. And we haven´t iwc caseback... sorry we are not replica sellers... we have build with parts from our stock. if someone can get us this genuine dials and case back, we will start a new project but in europe is difficult to get this parts

hi friends i am not interesting to sell this watch here in forum this watch is to expansive for rwg members we have build 5 of them and all sold to IWC fans in europe this watch is not produced in Tailand or Hong Kong and no Tailand or Honk Kong cheap price i like replica watches too ...but replica watches from asia are asia made... and you will see it after 1-2 years of worn... example... i have 5 rolex watches with saphir glass, eta movement, ar coating and etc., but all is bla bla bla bla bla bla ... every month i bring my replica watches to watchmaker for repair. Over and over again little problems... sometime looses markers from dial, sometimes looses screws from band, sometimes looses hands... THAT IS ASIA MADE. And i will not discuss about asia 7750 movement... this movement is HORRIBLE... all my watches with asia 7750 movement demaged after some times... replica watches from asia are a good alternative and i like it too... but the quality is poor and incomparable with genuine watches... the price is cheap but not similar quality of genuine swiss made. our IWC model is also not genuine and not genuine quality, but it is very close to genuine quality.
