  1. thanks for the info guys, took the watch to another shop. it was the balance staff had come unseated. all working fine now.
  2. the watch has never been serviced, when it stopped thats the reason i put it in a shop to get a service. i didnt think they could just fall out either, maybe ill just send it to rsc. thanks for clearing that up freddy

  4. evening all. i picked up two gen rollies the other day for an extremely good deal. ill add some pics asap. i got a 15210 s series date. little scratched up but i can sort that.plus it came with a spare dial and hands...can see a franken coming on . and i got a 15200 d series date in mint condition still with the protective wrapping on.but the newer one has stopped working. took it into a shop local to me so he can have a look. his words were. one of your jewels must of fell out! please correct me here but im sure the jewels do not just fall out??? is he trying it on or what? thanks

  7. im sure the dealer is recomended here on the board, im sure someone else will help with that.it dont look to bad but a big fault on that watch is the solid end links. they are not the correct size. ie they are not short enough. hope this helps

  14. i dont know what it is called, but seen a few guys ar there crystal on there subs an dssd's. ive done basic mods like the cg's, shaved inserts, repaired keyless works etc etc. do you think this might be out of my depth then? thanks
  15. is there any topics on the board on how to ar sub crystals? i searched the forum but cannot find anything. my watch is off to get waterproofed and pressure tested, but wanted to see if i can do this mod before she set sails. thanks in advance guys.

  17. you will need some dial dots to stick the dial down on the movement. do not use glue,just in case you get some in the gears. but yes the dial feet will need to be removed. good luck

  19. its a modern sub, so i assume its sapphire. where can i get a decent gasket?if gen what part number would i be looking for? thanks
  20. evening all. i want to water proof my watch, but the caseback gasket is missing, tried replacing it with a gasket i had lying around but it doesnt stay in the groove and as soon as i tighten the case back its starts to come out. whould a decent gasket fix this problem? also other that the crown an tube gaskets will i need to do anything with the crystal to seal it? thanks
