factories need to start making end links like these for the dj's, they make the correct sel's for the subs but not the dj's. i am currently building a franken 116234, but the hard part is the end links. but thinking of trying a milguass bracelet. sorry for the thread craping

plus, the dial cant be mis aligned as the markers at the number 9 looks to line up nicely with the engraving

hi scruffy, the movement that i need to have work done on is an eta, just been going through the tutorial on regeek with an old 21j in front of me. well i managed it! but then looked at the tutorial for an eta. note sure il give that a go. thanks for posting that link. was a great help

i think il get some one else to do this, as i dont want to make it worse. do you have any idea how much the repair an service would cost from one of the eu guys?

wow thats a list! i do have a hand press hands remover and screwdrivers, i have done small bits like change a datewheel and change dials. but by the sound of it its a bit harder than a simple dial change. can you recomend anyone in the eu to repair it for me? may aswell have it serviced at the same time.

hi guy's, basically i am looking at buying a yatchmaster off a member here, the watch is running but wont wind or set the time, il paste what he said to me. When you unscrew the crown the stem pulls right out, it is not engaging the keyless. I hve no idea if this is an easyfix. The hack mechanism functions so the movement arrests when the stem is out. It will wind with the rotor but not the crown and the crown will not set the time. so do you guys think this is an easy fix or not, ive tried to contact my watchsmith but im not getting through to him, maybe as its xmas im not sure. also im not sure what series the movement is. hope you can advise me. thanks guys and have a nice xmas

i found another sub dial in my parts, so i swapped the dial and put on a new date wheel, all ok now but thanks for the advise guy's

@jmb i wish we had even a glimmer of sunshine here in the uk, the best we can wish for is a wopping 22 degrees that only lasts a day.what a summer! i would imagine my lights will do the trick. fxrandy, if my lights dont do it ill go for a manicure and get the watch done at the same time.

yeah that crystal did come from an eta watch, ok ill order that glue,could i not use my high powered tropical marine fish tank lights to cure the glue?

hi cats, basically i have built the watch from all my spare parts, supose its a good way to learn. the crystal come from another sub, so far so good until the mag, but it sounds like an easy mod,just need to find the glue.

it is about 4 mil to the left out!wow. yeah it is saphire crystal, can i buy that from most shops or is it specialized?
