  1. Spectacular! Very good work, mate. I LOVE the super thick crystals on those vintage models. Do you know what thickness it is? Jay Bee
  2. Ah....good thing the watch only cost me $75 then...with sapphire (tested with diamond tester), and independent setting hand.
  3. Here's the "gold" version of them....The newer silver ones also have Rolex engravings on them, and are a little more slick looking. This one that I have runs at a steady +4/day after I adjusted it with a timegrapher, and I'm pretty impressed with it. I have a silver colored one in an Explorer and I'm fully satisfied with it, too. They both came WAY off, but after adjusting they've been great.
  4. Very nice...and seems that they've even improved some now...I just saw one in Shenzhen yesterday that had the rehaut engravings bang-on. Nice watch, for sure. J-B.
  5. No "factory" figures anything out, really. Factories make exactly what the company or person ordering tells them to make. The companies' engineers/designers are the ones responsible for what ultimately ends up in your watch. The factories are just following instructions, and the tooling and production is done by Chinese teenagers...mostly teenage girls who could not care less whether they were making "Rolex"es or sox. I live where they are made, and I've been to the factories
  6. Sent you a PM, bud...I know where to get 'em ;-)
  7. VERY NICE...Do you have any idea where they originate from? Just wondering because I visit Shenzhen China quite often (I'm in Hong Kong) and I'm wondering what my chances may be of finding one over there. There's quite a selection over there, and I'd love to get my hands on one of those
  8. Thanks, fellas! I'll be sure to drop in often..Lots of interesting stuff here for sure. I always had a lot of mixed up ideas about where this stuff came from. I had pictured very sinister circumstances and criminal slave factories etc etc....Once I actually got to see where they are made, and actually see them being put together, and being sold, and perused the catalogs that the dealers have, it changed my mind.
  9. Hey guys, My name's Jake, and I've been a member on quite a few forums for several years, and I love all watches...from the most inexpensive to the top of the line. I've just recently been introduced to replica Rolexes, and I've been having quite a bit of fun with them. One of my friends suggested I peek in here, and it's been pretty informative. There's certainly a lot of 'em out there, and I'd like to thank you guys for helping me to have a more discerning eye when I go out shopping for a new, fun piece Here's my latest...just picked it up today..
  10. WOW...That really sucks! I guess I've got it good over here in Hong Kong...At least I've got the advantage that I can just take a quick zip on the train and be right where they're made, and pick my own out in person
  11. They are VERY nice indeed...the metal looks great. I was just looking at one of those at the rep supply house in Shenzhen China today, and I was amazed. Of course, with the gen being Ti, it really is MUCH heavier. Hey..and just looking at your gen EXPII, the one I picked up yesterday ain't too shabby..
