Are you sure you posted this on the right forum , dude . This is without a doubt one of the least hostile forums i've been on . The overwhelming majority here is a funny, witty bunch of helpful people . This has been my experience since i joined here and you're not going to convince me of the opposite . Looks like you are the one with the problem here or did that sound too hostile to you . P.

Being in the business myself for 17 years now , i find it strange that Serengeti has been unmentioned . It's not the trendiest brand in the world perhaps but without a doubt one if not the classiest amongst the non couturier-brands (persol and ray-ban are other examples). Once you go their way there 's no way back : about 90 out of 100 customers who ever worn a pair of serengeti's return to the brand for a new one . Alltough i have allmost unlimited choice of sunglasses myself ( i own a good few from different brands for personal use)and allthough i have tied on thousands through my career , i never drive my car without a serengeti on the nose ( polarized driver lenses are my personal favorite).The quality of the lenses is to my opinion beyond comparison . And no : i don't have shares in the company . P.

Thanks a lot , cls , i got the lever engaged again and can wind now .Still not quiet there yet because i seem to be unable to fix the stem tight (i can pull it out even with the screw tightened) and find the right position to set the time . But i think in time i will get there . Thanks again . P.

I received a new thicker crown for the pam 111 (swiss movement , no swanneck , the one withe the engravings) and tried to switch them . I thought i succeeded but i can't wind the watch anymore . When the crown is in windingposition it sets the time , when i put it in timeposition it still does the same (normal). Watch is still running fine (won't be for much longer ,since i can't wind it ) . Does anybody know what is wrong ? Help needed . P. ps i did turn the stem when first inserted and heard a winding noise followed by another unfamiliar noise after wich winding turned impossible . Did i break it ?

Same here , by-tor's review made me buy the tag (yep..it was all HIS fault) . After reading and looking at the pictures it felt as if i didn't even have a say in this ......hope he keeps doing those reviews though . P.

I've read some topics about the pam 168 , the regatta 40mm with the blue dial , and found out there is some sort of wrong spelling on the dial .These posts are not the latest and on pictures from various dealers (for example the one on PT's site)i can't find the misspelling myself . Am i missing something or has it been taken care of . P. ps allthough not your typical pam , i think it makes a great summer-vacation type-a-watch.

Glad to be on board , learned alot since i joined the RWG ; untill now my desire to purchase a rep has allways been smaller than the fear of being scammed . Helped by the info on this board i finally took the step and bought one :a pam 111 . I ordered and paid a seller that is wel respected for his honesty and service , so i don't expect any difficulties . However i must say i immediately felt that this repbussiness isn't your usual type of bussiness . After making a deal with the seller ( who i won't call by his name , i don't want to diss him ) and paying him , he promised me a three day delivery . Naturally i was excited because of the short waitingterm only to find out that there was no watch on the day promised . I emailed him to ask for a trackingnumber wich he could not give me because he ran out of the model in question .(why didn't he inform me of that sooner , i would have understood ).He appoligized and promised me an update the day after . Untill now , no update from him . I'm not panicking rightaway but i would preffer a bit more communication from his part (especially because he allready has my money), but you can't always get what you want (that's what mick Jagger allways said to me) So now i guess it's waiting time afterall . Greetz .P. PS there are without a doubt some mistakes in my english but it's not my language so ...
