  1. Nice !!!!

A 22 mm strap at the lugs , if squeezed can fit OK the 21mm lugs.

But what you did with the 18 mm clasp ???? ...... or it doesn't have the Chopard clasp ???

Hi AMK000 - sorry, haven't looked at the post over the weekend. The Chopard Clasp ist still on the original rubber strap. I have not used it and do not plan to. The 22mm Hirsch is 20mm wide on the buckle side.

  2. Yes there are other differences - yet even the "ultimate", "perfect", "ultra", "hyper", "mega".... whatever sub is not a perfect 1:1 replica of the real thing. It's a common joke on rep fora: the best sub still comes from.... Rolex.

Having said that...do a little reading in the Rolex section. You will see all the various offers and detailed reviews. Don't expect to get a detailed list of flaws as an answer to your post. The rule is: all the information is here... for those who are willing to read....

For starters... you can't make a mistake by buying a "noobmariner" from TTK... it's a bargain and a pretty good sub-rep.

  3. :thumbsupsmileyanim: Gorgeous GMT. Just spectacular..... Now, not to be thick here (I am a noob after all) but that's a genuine Rollie, right?

Unfortunately (or fortunately - depending on your pov) vintage gmt are not a well represented breed in rep circles.... pretty much all of the (gmt vintage) watches offered on the rep market bear little resemblance to the real deal...

so (at least for now) if vintage gmt is what you want.... gen is the way to go....

    btw... beautiful watch delta...

  4. That is very, very sad news.... and I sincerely hope that once the dust has settled, this will only be a temporary absence from the forum because otherwise, RWG might have just lost one of it's most important assets.

It is one thing to discuss the look of watches, how to tell a good sub from a bad or which strap for this or that occasion, but what a watch forum truly needs, is someone with knowledge not only opinion.

Take a break, celebrate with the family, get the trolls out of your system and ...please come back soon!
