  1. Ha, seems like cheating to have those extra 3 on the sill over there! What's on the bottom row, third from right? 3717 Spitfire? Looks like the entire bottom row is dedicated to IWC lol
  2. Thanks for the responses! @Nightwatch, I think what you described is exactly what happened, since I found some tubes as shown in my photo. I also found this image very helpful: So, are the tubes symmetrical (they go in either way)? Do I just push them in from the arrow side and then push the pin into them from the opposite side? EDIT: Okay I got it now. The tubes go into the center-links then the pin pushes through after connecting the links together. Should have read your post more carefully! Thanks!
  3. Hi there, I just bought a Speedmaster Date 3210.52 (the red and black dial) from the forum, and the rep bracelet seems to be of good quality; however, one link position (that connects to the link connected to the deployant) does not seem to connect properly and the pin keeps falling out when the watch is shaken a bit (when the arrow on the link is pointing toward the ceiling - so gravity just pulls the pin out). I think I may have damaged the pin(s) while taking them out, because I have tried to put different links in that position which all exhibit the same behavior. Does anyone know whether I could order pins somewhere that would fit this bracelet? Also, just out of curiosity, does the gen bracelet fit this rep properly? And if so, is it much better quality than the rep bracelet? The rep one feels pretty damn good to me, besides this problem. Thanks!
  4. As for release date, Puretime has this written on the page for the rep: The vey first 1:1 Tudor replica in the history - Hertitage Black Bay. 1:1 replicated from a genuine sample, made by the rising new Z-Factory. As this is ZF's first replica project and it took them more than one year to replicate this watch, they came across many problems and isues with the watch so the release time has been delayed and delayed. The watch will be released by 14th Jan 2014, the watch you see is final except the case back which is still a sample. We will get more of the Black Bay so ordering is reopen now. But only the pre-ordered Black Bay are guaranteed to have decorated movements, others will get plain movements.
  5. Old thread but I never replied - thanks for the responses, I ended up getting a used gen! With a new strap:
  6. Do you mean it winds while screwing the crown back in, or after it is screwed in (i.e. it never screws in completely)? If the former, isn't that how an ETA 7750 normally functions? That seems to be the case on my Sinn 956 Klassik (gen).
  7. Hey everyone, I'm wondering whether anyone has seen a Sinn 956 rep; I really love the styling on this watch. Thanks!
